With the development of modernization and urbanization of China,the housing commercialization today,residential landscape design showing unprecedented prosperity.At the same time,but there has been confusion design ideas,the blind pursuit of exotic style,resulting in the disappearance of the local traditional culture.Which hides many confused:as traditional and modern,international and local,technology and art,and so on.Regional Features of loss which is particularly evident and urgent need to solve a problem.Increasing design project,making the landscape designer is no more time to think and dig deep cultural connotation,causing mass,the identical landscape design abound,each area unique local characteristics have not been unfolded.Faced with the loss of place and even the demise of geographical features,each with a sense of national crisis and social responsibility people have to reflect on:Under the strong impact of Western culture,the Chinese regional culture go from here?How cultural convergence still maintain their characteristics;how to not only adapt to modern development,but also to show the essence of the territorial;landscape environment is both our world,but also the nation.The research in today’s landscape design features related to lack of serious regional problems as a starting point,through the Grand Canal in Yangzhou community as a real case for a complete residential landscape design based on local cultures.First,analyzed and summarized by a series of related studies and theoretical integration of domestic and regional characteristics of the landscape design case;the use of literature analysis,field investigation and analysis,multi-disciplinary analysis,from the spiritual and cultural aspects of material culture of Chinese traditional elements combined with local cultural expressions of modern landscape design analysis and study;and the use of innovative methods to geographical and cultural elements into the design symbol,the last symbol of the design with a direct or indirect expression applied to the landscape design.Summarized the regional landscape design method performance characteristics of culture,to provide people with a visual aesthetic,but also a very good traditional and regional cultural fusion of Chinese and modern landscape together,so that traditional culture can be inherited and continue through the landscape,as landscape Design inject new vitality and traditional culture.
