Machine gun is the core of team support fire.In recent years,the development of the medium caliber machine guns in foreign countries has developed rapidly,but there is a lack of relevant research in China.No new medium caliber machine guns have entered active service in the last 40 years.In view of the possible problems,which lead to the fault of study and equipment of the medium caliber machine in China,A general design of medium caliber machine gun is proposed in this paper.The mature structure and the floating principle,which greatly reduce the recoil and improve the stability of firing weapons,and vibration isolation technology are used in this paper.The structure design of a new machine gun,a three-dimensional solid model of the whole gun,the multi-body dynamics model,and the rigid flexible coupling model was completed in this paper.The action feasibility,motion characteristics of the gun,the influence factor of the floating mechanism,and firing is analyzed by simulation in this paper.The multi rigid body dynamics model shows that the gun can complete the action of recoiling,recovering and feeding,the scheme is feasible.In this paper,floating technology is applied to the medium caliber machine gun for the first time,and the variable parameter simulation is carried out for the factors which have great influence on the floating.The simulation show that,the floating process of the gun with the approximate fixed speed and fix position mechanism,showing a clear pattern with spring stiffness and pre pressure,and the location of floating locking position of inner receiver,and showing no pattern with the floating position of the bolt carrier.Through the contrast of gun recoil and muzzle motion in floating and non floating status,the rigid flexible coupling model shows that the recoil floating technique can significantly reduce the gun,there are certain advantages to to reduce muzzle vibration and improve firing accuracy.This paper has a certain reference significance for the development of the medium caliber machine gun in China.
