| With the continuous advancement of urbanization in China, the amount of development of buildings has gradually decreased, and the development speed of residential buildings in full swing has slowed down. The concept that “houses are for people to live” has received increasing attention. As the world’s largest population,China is facing a severe situation with many people. The traditional low-density living forms can no longer meet the requirements of today’s high-density urban communities. However, under the guidance of modernism, the construction of a beautiful and functional urban community center has not achieved the expected results. The research background of this article is based on this new situation and the preliminary discussion of the community center. The community center provides residents with a place for gathering and interaction, embodying the living conditions of the residents. It is not only a physical function space used by the residents, but also a place to increase the cohesion and identity of the community.Through the collection of preliminary data, literature review and actual investigation,we summarize two problems that the community center currently faces in the new situation. One is the function demand of community centers under the new situation;the second is the research on the identity of community centers under the new situation.Firstly, the dissertation discusses the function demand and recognition of community center functions: facing the functional requirements of community centers under the new situation, and how to improve and meet the actual needs of residents through the construction of a reasonable function configuration;Faced with the problem of community center identity, how to effectively respond to the architectural space and form. The idea of the article is to summarize the characteristics and design strategies of the community center under the new situation in China.Based on this theoretical study, this is the practice in the design of the “DaJia” community center of the Suzhou Park for these two characteristics.Faced with the problems faced by modern community centers in China, starting from the functional needs of community centers and the sense of identity of community centers, relying on the latest design practices in the “DaJia” community of Suzhou Park, the study summed up the need to respond to the functional needs of community centers.Question and identity strategies.I hope to learn from the community building of the community center in the future. |
