| The temple of heaven,as a place for emperors of the Ming and qing dynasties to worship heaven,is not only the largest existing altar complex in China,but also an outstanding representative of ancient Chinese heaven worship architecture,which contains many traditional Chinese philosophical thoughts and expresses the ancient Chinese people’s belief in the god of heaven.The overall structure of the temple of heaven is vast and magnificent,the structure layout is rigorous and orderly,and the architectural decoration is exquisite and magnificent.In the process of design and construction,it is permeated with a lot of traditional Chinese architectural ideas,especially as a place for emperors to worship heaven,which embodies a lot of imperial power and its related ideas.The temple of heaven in Beijing,as a ceremonial building,has the political function of stabilizing the state power.Therefore,in terms of overall design,planning and architectural layout,it shows the special relationship between the emperor and heaven,highlighting the emperor’s honorable status as the "son of heaven".However,as an abstract concept,feudal imperial power cannot be displayed directly,so it needs to be expressed with the help of other concrete material carriers.Therefore,the temple of heaven in Beijing USES a lot of symbols and symbolic techniques with the help of architecture,a material carrier,to make the temple of heaven not only show the greatness and nobility of the god in heaven,which dominates everything on earth,but also express the special status of the son of heaven,who manages the world on behalf of heaven.This paper aims to analyze the imperial power symbol in the design and construction of the temple of heaven in Beijing by analyzing and combing the knowledge related to imperial power and taking the architectural symbol and construction concept used in the temple of heaven in Beijing as the intermediary.Therefore,the article is mainly divided into three major parts.The first part mainly analyzes and sorts out the imperial power and its related ideology,culture and system,and clarifies the main content and characteristics of imperial power in ancient China.And the feudal rulers in order to stabilize the regime,consolidate the rule of the various methods and methods used to study,lay a theoretical foundation for the following argumentation.In the second part,the development process of ancient Chinese heaven worship architecture is firstly sorted out,and the material carrier of this paper--temple of heaven architecture is introduced.Then three groups of buildings in the temple of heaven are respectively described: qigu temple complex,huanqiu altar complex and zhai gong complex.The third part,this part is the key part of this paper,is based on the first two parts of the analysis and summary.This paper analyzes the imperial power symbols in the temple of heaven in Beijing during the Ming and qing dynasties from two aspects: the architectural symbols used in the temple of heaven in Beijing,and the overall building style.Taking the temple of heaven in Beijing in the Ming and qing dynasties as the carrier,this paper analyzes the imperial culture symbolized by the temple of heaven in the design and construction by analyzing the design techniques and concepts of the temple of heaven in the aspects of color,shape,sound and architecture itself. |
