Belt conveyor is a kind of continuous transportation equipment in modern production.It has the advantages of large capacity,long distance,low energy consumption,low freight,high efficiency,stable operation,convenient loading and unloading,suitable for bulk material transportation,etc.It has been widely used.In the fields of coal,port,electricity,mining,and chemical industry.The steel cord conveyor belt is an important part of the belt conveyor's traction and carrying.During the use,due to the increased load of the steel cord conveyor belt,it is scratched by foreign objects or obstacles such as scrap steel or vermiculite,and is transported for a long time in harsh environments.Belt aging,improper adjustment of conveyor installation,wire rope core joint lap joint and poor vulcanization,etc.,resulting in steel wire core breakage,scratching,rust,joint elongation or joint lap joint irregularity and steel cord core and rubber separation(degumming),etc.Failure,once a failure occurs,will cause a major break with a safety accident and stop production,loss of transportation materials,equipment damage,huge economic losses and casualties,seriously affecting safety production.In order to ensure the safe operation of the belt conveyor,it is necessary to test the steel cord conveyor belt.In this thesis,the high-speed X-ray detector of X-ray wire rope conveyor belt online detection system is studied.The principle of X-ray non-destructive testing is analyzed,and a high-speed X-ray detector design scheme is proposed.The hardware circuit of high-speed X-ray detector is designed with Altera Cyclone ? FPGA chip as the core,including X-ray signal data acquisition.FPGA signal processing,Ethernet interface and other circuits;The software of high-speed X-ray detector is designed and implemented in Verilog language.The experiment shows that the detector can realize high-speed acquisition,processing and Ethernet data transmission of 4-channel X-ray signals.It has the advantages of fast acquisition speed,low power consumption,low cost and high reliability.The maximum acquisition line frequency is 2640 Hz,the number of pixels collected per line is 1536 pixels,the image resolution is 1.5mm,and the power consumption is less than 17W.The high-speed X-ray detector is the core component of the X-ray wire rope conveyor belt online inspection system.The system can detect the steel wire rope image of the conveyor belt online,store and display the steel wire core image in real time,process and analyze the steel wire core image,find the steel wire core failure,timely alarm,give performance analysis results,and avoid the occurrence of major breakage safety accidents.,equipment damage,production stoppages and casualties,reduce the loss of transportation materials and economic losses,can be widely used in coal,mining,port,power,metallurgy,chemical and other fields.
