Material transport is a very important part of the production process of the company's products.It is relatively poor compared to the traditional transportation technology due to the bad terrain.Some infrastructure may be imperfect,or other obstacles may affect material transportation.Rope Supported Walled Belt Conveyor(RSWBC)as a new type of material transportation,due to its long transportation distance,large conveying capacity,easy crossing obstacles(such as rivers,canyons,buildings,roads,trees,etc.),large rope span,etc.Particularly suitable for convey materials in complex terrain.In this paper,a detailed description and preliminary design calculation of the rope supported walled belt conveyor are carried out.The characteristics of sag and unloading characteristics of the conveyor belt are studied in light of the large distance between the rollers and the new structure of the conveyor belt,which will be studied further in the future,and provides a basis for further research.Firstly,the structure characteristics of conveyor and the comparison of traditional belt conveyor are described in detail,and the preliminary design calculation of the conveyor used in a mountain is given as an example.It provides a theoretical basis for subsequent simulation analysis.Secondly,the force analysis was performed on any two roller conveyor belts.The classical catenary method and elastic catenary method were used as the research methods.The analysis equations were established and based on the preliminary design calculation data.The sag of conveyor belt under different research methods was used.The displacement simulation model of conveyor belt sag characteristics was established by finite element method.By considering the sag of the conveyor belt and analyzing the cloud diagram of equivalent stress in the simulation,the performance of all aspects of the conveyor belt when the distance between any two rollers is selected at 3m-4m is obtained under the current manufacturing technology background.Finally,based on the above optimal spacing value,based on the method of solving the general conveyor belt ejection trajectory,according to the actualgeometry of the material section on the conveyor belt under study,the overall center of gravity of the material is derived by the partition method,and the whole material is taken.A material unit was analyzed to establish a geometric and mechanical model between the material unit and the conveyor belt.The discrete element method was used to establish a material flow particle simulation model at the discharge roller.Through the analysis,the conditions of different filling rates,different particle sizes and whether the axles pass through the drum are obtained,which provides a certain reference for the design of the feeder.The study of this paper provides a new option for the transportation of bulk materials,and also provides a reference for the design and optimization analysis of rope supported walled belt conveyor.
