Typical troubles of internal energy rotary barrels machine gun are discussed and researched in this thesis.Firstly,a brief introduction of the development history and present situation of rotary barrels weapons is given,and then a virtual prototype model of the internal energy rotary barrels machine gun is set up by defining parts properties,adding constraints and loads in the environment of dynamic simulation software ADAMS.Incorrect stop position fault is resolved by optimizing the structure and dimension of manual initial loading mechanism through analyzing the mechanism structure and experimental data collected.And the problem of substandard firing rate is ironed out by optimizing the structure and dimension of gas operated device after calculating data under different gas operated devices parameters through kinematic equations of automata set up by analyzing the gas system.And the failure of unreliable feeding is removed by optimizing the structure of the ammunition feeder and the feeding route after analyzing the feeding route.The above researches are of great significanceas to shorten the development cycle,reduce development cost and improve design reliability and scientificity.
