As a neotype of the transmission system,face gear transmission has been widely used in aerospace and other fields,due to its unique branching and converging transmission structure.Even though,the design and manufacture of high-performance face gears are very complex,which restricts its further popularization and application.Thus to manufacture face gears with better transmission efficiency,this article aimed at face gear modified manufacture as the major innovation point,took face gear as the main research object,deeply researched its generating principle,then further combined the method of tooth contact analysis(TCA)and loaded tooth contact analysis(LTCA)to study the tooth contact and loaded contact characteristics of machined-face gear,the research results of this article as follow:(1)The motion model of the face gear hobbing is established,based on the meshing theory and coordinate transmission system.Then the tooth surface equations of the generating production gear corresponding to the hob were derived,and the hobbing experiment is carried out with a standard involute hob.Moreover,the undercutting phenomenon of the face gear in the processing is analyzed,and the theory of the single point shown on the surface is used to explain the undercutting phenomenon.Based on the theory,the method of limiting the limitation line shown in the hob surface to avoid the over interference shows in the face gear is proposed.The process error coordinate system of the machined face gear is established,and its sensitivity to the face gear is analyzed.(2)According to the face gear grinding theory,the motion model of the face gear grinding is built,and the mathematical model of face gear grinding was constructed.The meshing coordinate system is generated based on the parabolic rack tooth profile equations,and then the generating gear,diamond wheel,worm,and face gear generating coordinate system was constructed in turn.Besides,the discretization modeling method was proposed,and the influence of different modification parameters on the parabolic tooth profile and the geometric tooth surface of the machined face gear is analyzed,and the influence of different modification parameters on the tooth surface deviation value of the face gear was studied.(3)Based on the tooth contact analysis method of the face gear,the tooth surface analysis coordinate system was constructed,considering the installation error under actual working conditions,the installation error matrices was used to introduce the tooth surface contact analysis equation,and the method for solving the nonlinear equations of tooth surface contact was proposed.Solution.A discrete solution method of tooth contact analysis was given,and the sensitivity of the involute spur gear in the hobbing process and the parabolic spur gear obtained in the grinding process to installation errors was analyzed.(4)Considering the elastic deformation phenomenon on the tooth surface when the face gear is in contact,the formula for solving the contact point of the gear was given,and the mathematical model of the contact ellipse on the tooth surface of the face gear was established.Numerical analysis was used to carry out the loaded tooth contact analysis of the face gear under different modification parameters,and the finite element method was used to verify the accuracy of the proposed method. |
