Dialogue Between Modern Industrial Civilization And Modern Culture

At present,urbanization process is accelerating in china,there is clustering,homogenization trend,coupled with the increasingly severe contradiction between urban development and the environment,the city’s sustainability is increasingly louder and louder.In this context,many ancient towns and villages are involved in the wave of renewal and transformation,the research is set to explore the position of the ancient towns in the contemporary under the background of rapid development of urbanization.This paper selects the ancient town of Tangzha as the research object,starts with the concept of industrial civilization and modern culture,determines the theoretical support of the modern Zhang Wei urban planning thought,uses the literature research method,the comparative research method and the field investigation method to study it,analyzes the ancient town’s present situation,the continuation of the planning theory and the development of the ancient town.It is found that "dialogue" is the better way to break through the barriers of the ancient town’s status quo and the integration of the times,and is the inevitable choice to shape the beautiful living in the town,thus determining the necessity of the dialogue in the ancient town of Tangzha,and by importing industrial culture,injecting industrial elements,wake up the collective memory to achieve dialogue.Affirmed the necessity of dialogue in the ancient town of Tangzha,and put forward the following dialogue strategies for the core area of Tangzha ancient town: Firstly,construct dialogue net with nodes of various modes of transportation.Secondly,build a temperature-based dialogue place relying on the community.Thirdly,broaden conversations with diverse functional models,and fourthly,trace the historical civilization relying on the local context environment.The old brewery site in the core area of the ancient town is then selected for planning and design.The modern living needs and diversified functional layout into the plot,attract the town residents to come to this rest and play,so that the ancient town of Tangzha become a modern living space with historical memory,and finally form the ideal living environment model of sustainable development,for the protection and development of other ancient towns to provide a new way of thinking.
