This study was to isolate endophytic fungi from Schisandra chinensis and investigate their antimicrobial components. The methods and results are as follows:S.chinensis was collected from Greater Khingan Mountain,Lesser Khingan Mountain and Changbai Mountain.By using strict surface sterilization and solid medium,41 strains of endophytic fungi were isolated. The further tests showed the antimicrobial components of fungal strain W17 was stability at 50°C,and its extract of ethyl acetate was strongest antimicrobial activities within its different extracts. The ethyl acetate extract of fungal strain W17 was prepared at large scale.By using the column chromatography of silica gel and Sephadex LH-20 and HPLC,four antimicrobial compounds were separated and they were named after A,B,C and D.By NMR and MS,the structures of these compounds were investigated.Their molecular weights were 278?310 and 312,respectively.Their molecular formulas were C16H22O4?C16H22O6 and C16H24O6,respectively.By using 96 well-MTT method, the antimicrobial activities of compound A?B and C were investigated. The tested bacterial strains were Bacillus subtilis and Pseudomonas solanacearum. The results showed that the IC50 values of compound A,B and C were 4.68?g/ml to 33.64?g/ml,and the antimicrobial activities of compound B were highest.
