As a special public building,the hospital operates uninterrupted throughout the year.Its energy consumption far exceeds that of ordinary public buildings.There is room for energy conservation development.However,the research and application of energy saving in hospitals in our country focus on the saving and transformation in the hospital and have not yet become market-oriented.Through the previous scholars' research results,the developed countries in the world have formed a large-scale and industrial contract energy management model.This new energy management method can not only save energy,but also reduce costs and increase returns.Under the current policy market environment,it is possible to explore the application of the energy management model in hospital contracts.Under the leadership of our government,contract energy management mode has started to be applied in various public buildings in recent years.This paper summarizes the application of contract energy management in a hospital in Beijing through literature research and case studies.The study confirms the effectiveness of contract energy management model applied to energy saving in hospital buildings.At the same time,it finds that information asymmetry and unprofessional services exist during the cooperation between hospitals and energy-saving companies.The reasons for such phenomena are environmental protection not enough,the slow development of energy-saving service industry,capital security and government subsidies and other external environment reasons,but also lack of awareness within the hospital,there is no professional job docking energy management companies and other issues.Finally,the article put forward feasible suggestions.
