Objiective: To observe and compare the clinical effect of insertion and twisting method and mild reinforcing-reducing method of acupuncture in the treatment of ischemic stroke of combination of blood stasis and phlegm in the recovery period. Methods:Sixty patients with ischemic stroke of combination of blood stasis and phlegm from the Department of Encephalopathy and the Second Department of Encephalopathy,Second Affiliated Hospital of Hunan University of Traditional Chinese Medicine were randomly divided into the insertion and twisting group according to the order of admission.(hereinafter referred to as group A)and mild reinforcing-reducing group(hereinafter referred to as group B),each group has 30 cases.Group A was treated with insertion and twisting method of acupuncture on the basic treatment once a day.Group B was treated with mild reinforcing-reducing of acupuncture on the basic treatment once a day. Both groups received acupuncture once a day.6 times a week,1 day off a week for a total of 4weeks.The patients were subjected to MBI score,FMA score,NIHSS score before and after treatment, and the curative effect of the two groups was analyzed according to the score results. Results: The final effective number of cases in this study was 60 cases,30 cases in groups A and B,and there were no cases of rejection, shedding or termination. After statistical analysis, the results showed that:1.MBI score comparison: After treatment, the MBI scores of group A and group B were higher than those before treatment(P<0.01),and the score of group A was significantly higher than that of group B(P<0.01).2.FMA score comparison: After treatment, the FMA scores of group A and group B were higher than those before treatment(P<0.01),and the score of group A was significantly higher than that of group B(P<0.01).3.NIHSS score comparison: After treatment, the NIHSS scores of group A and group B were lower than those before treatment(P<0.01),and the score of group A was significantly lower than that of group B(P<0.01).4.Comparison of curative effect: After 4 courses of treatment, the total effective rate of group A was 93.33%,and the total effective rate of groupB was 90.00%.Compared with the two groups, the total effective rate of group A was higher than that of group B(P<0.05).Conclusion: This study compared the efficacy of the insertion and twisting group and the mild reinforcing-reducing group in the treatment of ischemic stroke of combination of blood stasis and phlegm in the recovery period, and concluded that both acupuncture methods can effectively improve the daily living ability, upper and lower extremity motor function and neurological deficit in the recovery period of cerebral infarction, and can improve the quality of life of patients with cerebral infarction during recovery and recovery. The curative effect of insertion and twisting method is better than the mild reinforcing-reducing method and it is worthy of clinical promotion.
