| "Correspondence between man and nature"is a result of observation and recording for natural,cosmic and human changes in Traditional Chinese Medicine,v The idea of"Correspondence between man and nature" reveals a kind of relationship between man,nature and the cosmos which is caused by changes in the spatial structure and temporal structure changes existed in human life activities celestial movements.The theory of'"correspondence between human and nature" has been centered by entire theoretical system of Chinese medicine since the traditional Chinese medical theory establishment in the Huangdi Nei Jing.Traditional Chinese medicine has a rich understanding in health and disease,as well as Chinese medicine practical applications such as treatment and prevention.The idea of "correspondence between human and nature" is a rule that as a guidance for prevention of diseases,treatment,and assurance of health.The traditional Chinese medicine theoretical system implements that the essence of theory "correspondence between human and nature" is "temporal-human with space-time" relationship in position from the understanding of the human body,diseases,diagnosis,treatment,to prevention of diseases.Therefore,we need to obse rve a dynamic change of human body based on the theory of"correspondence between human and nature" when do the clinic research.1 ObjectiveThis study aimed at the change of immunological function in patient with bronchial asthma and normal body during seasonal changes in one year to explore the immunological effect of seasonal changes(time rhythm)on the body.Meanwhile,provided a scientific practice for asthma prevention in the view of TCM.2Methods2.1 Subjects:Confirmed with the research criteria in this study.Including 50±5 patients and 28±2 participants those who were normal after biochemical examination.2.2 Clinical samples collection:4-5 ml peripheral venous blood per people in Diseased Group and Control Group was drawn at the spring equinox12days,summer solstice±2days,autumn equinox12days and winter solstice±2days8:00a.m.2ml of this was taken into tube A containing EDTA;2ml was taken into a tube B without chemicals.2.3Clinical samples treatment:Blood in tube A was tested by Flow Cytometry.Blood in tube B was allowed on sta nding at room temperature for2-4hours,then centrifuged at3000 r/min for 10-15minutes at 4?,and serumwas taken into the freezing tube which be set in refrigerator at-80? for reserve.2.4 Test methods:IL-1,IL-2,EL-6,TNF-?,IgG,IgE were detected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA);CD4+,CD8+were detected by flow cytometry.2.5 Analysis methods:The data was statistically analyzed using SPSS 20.0 statistical software.All data were showed by mean±standard error deviation(x±s).The results of ELISA test retained 2 decimal places,and the results of flow cytometry test retained 1 decimal place.The data between the Diseased Group and the Control Group was tested to be in a normal distribution which was compared by the T test,otherwise for non-parametric test(two independent samples).One-way ANOVA was used for groups(spring equinox,summer solstice,autumn,and winter solstice)data comparison.The LSD is used for double comparison between groups.The non-parametric test(k independent samples)is for data abnormal distribution.P<0.05 means significant difference in statistics.3 Results3.1 There was significant difference in IL-1 content between Spring Equinox,Summer Solstice,Autumn Equinox and the Winter Solstice in normal group.The content of IL-2 in asthma group was different between Spring Equinox,Summer Solstice.The content of IL-2 was different between Spring Equinox,Summer Solstice,Autumn Equinox,and Winter Solstice in normal group.There was a statistical difference in content of IL-2between normal group and asthma group under Summer Solstice and Winter Solstice.The content of IL-6 in normal group was different from that in Summer Solstice,Autumn Equinox and the Winter Solstice,and there was difference in asthma group under Spring Equinox,Summer Solstice and Winter Solstice.The levels of IL-6 in normal group and asthma group were significantly different from those in these four solar terms.3.2 The content of TNF-a was different between Spring Equinox,Summer Solstice,Winter Solstice in normal group as well as in asthma group.The level of T*NF-a was significantly different between normal group and asthma group under the condition of Summer Solstice and Winter Solstice.3.3The content of IgG in normal and asthma group was significantly different in Spring Equinox,Summer Solstice and Winter Solstice.There was statistical difference in IgG content between normal group and asthma group under Summer Solstice and Winter Solstice.There were differences in IgE content among Spring Equinox,Summer Solstice and Winter Solstice in normal group,as well as in asthma group.Statistical difference in IgE content between normal group and asthma group under these four solar terms.3.4 There was no statistical difference between four solar terms for CD4+ in normal group and asthma group.But there was statistical difference between normal group and asthma group under Spring Equinox for CD4+.There were significant differences in CD8+values in normal group under Spring Equinox,Summer Solstice and the Autumn Equinox,but was no significant difference in asthma group.There was statistical difference between normal and asthma group under Spring Equinox and Summer Solstice for CD8+.4 Conclusions4.1 The immune function of normal human body has a certain annual rhythm,which is at high level in Spring Equinox and with low level in Winter Solstice,coincided with the annual rhythm which based on the theory of traditional Chinese medicine.4.2 The immunomodulation of bronchial asthma patients has certain annual rhythm,but which is not synchronized with the normal annual rhythm.4.3 There was a certain difference of immune function rhythm between bronchial asthma patients and normal people.The immune rhythm was inverted with normal people. |
