Clinical Study Of Huangqi Guizhi Wuwu Decoction On Intervention Of Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathy

Objective: This clinical trial was conducted to evaluate the efficacy of the addition and subtraction of Huangqi Guizhi Wuwu Decoction to improve clinical symptoms and nerve conduction velocity in patients with diabetic peripheral neuropathy.MATERIALS AND METHODS: Choose from October 2016 to April 2017 44 cases of DPN patients who met the inclusion criteria of endocrinology clinic and hospitalization of Affiliated Hospital of Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 4 cases,4 cases were off,subjects who met the inclusion criteria were treated with double-blind,random number table method,Placebo parallel control design method is divided into two groups,the test group and the control group,20 cases each.Two groups of subjects are to ensure that the basic treatment,reasonable control of blood glucose,taking mecobalamin tablets,and then compared to treatment,the test group taking Astragalus Guizhi Wuwu Decoction formula particles.Control group given placebo,24 weeks for a course of treatment.After the test,we compared the vital signs before and after taking the medicine;the safety indexes such as blood routine,renal function,urine routine,electrocardiogram,routine,and liver function;compared the change of clinical symptoms and signs of the patients before and after taking the medication.Score record;compare patients before and after taking fasting blood glucose,glycosylated hemoglobin,blood lipid changes;the changes of sensory conduction velocity of the superficial peroneal nerve were compared before and after taking the drug.Results: 1.Safety index comparison: No adverse events occurred in both groups after taking the medicine.(1)vital signs: such as body temperature,blood pressure,breathing,heart rate and other treatment before and after no abnormalities.(2)blood,urine,then routine,ECG,liver function five,no abnormalities before and after treatment of renal function,and no significant difference.2.Comparison of clinical symptoms and signs: After treatment,the scores of Michigan's diabetic peripheral neuropathy patients in the test group decreased significantly compared with the control group(P <0.05).3.After treatment,HbA1 c and fasting blood glucose were lower than those before treatment(P <0.05).However,there was no significant difference in the fasting blood glucose and HbA1 c between the test group and the control group(P> 0.05).4.Blood lipids comparison: the test group of patients with total cholesterol and low density lipoprotein decreased significantly(P <0.05);and triglycerides,high density lipoprotein were no statistical difference(P> 0.05).5.EMG results comparison: the test group of patients with left and right peroneal nerve sensory conduction velocity significantly faster(P <0.01).Conclusion: Astragalus Guizhi Wuwu Decoction for the safety prescriptions,can effectively improve the diabetic peripheral neuropathy in patients with blood lipids,relieve clinical symptoms and improve nerve conduction velocity.
