| ObjectiveTo observe the effect of Zhenfu therapy on blood lipid,blood glucose,quality of life and body fat measurement in patients with metabolic syndrome.Method70 patients with metabolic syndrome were randomly divided into abdominal vibration group(n=35)and control group(n=35).The abdominal vibration group required patients’diet,exercise and drug treatment to be consistent with that before the intervention observation.The specific manipulation of abdominal vibration therapy is as follows:① click Feishu,Xinshu,Geshu,Ganshu,Pishu,Shenshu,Hegu,Quchi,Zusanli,Sanyinjiao,Fenglong,yinlingquan,liangmen,Guanmen,Taiyi,Huarou,Tianshu Pivot,outer mausoleum,watercourse,grand.All the above acupoints were taken from both sides of the acupoints,and the points were punctually pressed with both hands and thumbs at the same time,with the degree of acid swelling felt by the patients.Each acupoint lasted for 10 minutes for 30 seconds.②Doctors to patients with abdominal vibration treatment.The operation of vibrating abdomen method is that the doctor points Laogong point of the palm of the right hand at Shenque point of the patient,the middle finger is naturally placed on the Ren meridian circulation line,the index finger and ring finger are naturally placed on the kidney meridian circulation line,the thumb and little finger are naturally placed on the stomach meridian circulation line,and then the wrist relaxation vibration method is performed for 20 minutes.The total treatment time was 30 minutes,once every other day,and 12 times in 4 weeks.Continuous treatment for 1 course.Patients in the control group were required to keep the same diet,exercise and drug treatment during the intervention observation and before the intervention observation,and timely telephone or wechat were used to track the above situation of patients for 4 consecutive weeks.Blood lipid,blood glucose,TCM symptom score and body fat measurement were compared between the two groups before and after intervention.Result1.70 cases were enrolled in the study.During the study,there were 3 cases of abdominal vibration group falling off(patients quit due to work reasons),the final remaining 32 cases,the control group of 7 cases(patients can not adhere to the withdrawal),the final remaining 28 cases.In this study,the drop off rate was controlled within 15%.There were 11 males(34%)and 21 females(65%)in the abdominal vibration group.The youngest was 29 years old and the oldest was 65 years old.The average age was 49.69 ± 9.61 years.In the control group,7(25%)were male and 21(75%)were female.The youngest was 30 years old and the oldest was 65 years old.The average age was 54.38 ± 8.95 years.There was no significant difference in gender,age,disease condition,exercise,smoking history,drinking history and eating habits(all P>0.05).2.Blood lipid related indicators:before and after the intervention,the levels of triglyceride(TG)and total cholesterol(TC)were decreased and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05),the level of high-density lipoprotein(HDL-C)was increased and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);the difference of low-density lipoprotein(LDL-C)was not statistically significant;TG,TC,HDL-C in the control group were not statistically significant There was no significant difference between before and after intervention(P>0.05),but the level of LDL-C in the control group was significantly higher than that before intervention(P<0.05).Before the intervention,there was no significant difference in the four indexes of blood lipid between the two groups(P>0.05);after the intervention,TG in the abdominal vibration group was lower than that in the control group,and HDL-C was higher than that in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05),but there was no significant difference in TC and LDL-C between the two groups(P>0.05).3.Blood glucose index:there was a significant difference in the decrease of fasting blood glucose(FPG)before and after the intervention in the Zhenfu group(P<0.05);there was no significant difference in FPG before and after the intervention in the control group(P>0.05).There was no significant difference in FPG between the two groups before and after the intervention(P>0.05).4.Indexes related to body fat measurement:before and after the intervention,BMI,waist circumference,hip circumference,waist to hip ratio,waist to height ratio,and visceral fat index(VAI)in the control group decreased with statistical significance(P<0.05);BMI,waist,hip circumference,waist to hip ratio,waist to height ratio and VAI in the control group had no difference before and after the intervention Statistical significance(P>0.05).There was no significant difference between the two groups before the intervention(P>0.05);after the intervention,BMI,waist circumference,waist to hip ratio,waist to height ratio and VAI in the abdominal vibration group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05),and there was no significant difference between the two groups.The percentage of abdominal fat,the percentage of scapular fat and the percentage of upper arm fat decreased significantly before and after intervention(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in abdominal fat percentage,scapular fat percentage and upper arm fat percentage before and after observation in the control group(P>0.05).There was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05).There was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05).5.TCM symptom score:before and after the intervention in Zhenfu group,TCM symptom score decreased and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);before and after the intervention in the control group,TCM symptom score had no statistical significance(P>0.05).There was no significant difference in TCM symptom score between the two groups before the intervention and after the intervention(P<0.05).6.Evaluation of improvement of TCM symptom score:the total improvement rate of TCM score in Zhenfu group was 84.3%,and that in the control group was 46.4%.The difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).The effect of Zhenfu group was better than that of the control group.Conclusion1.On the premise that the conventional basic treatment remains unchanged,abdominal vibration therapy can effectively improve the simple body fat parameters of metabolic syndrome patients,such as BMI,waist circumference,waist hip ratio,waist height ratio and VAI.It is suggested that abdominal vibration therapy can assist the basic treatment and reduce the ectopic accumulation of abdominal and visceral fat in patients with metabolic syndrome.2.On the premise that the conventional basic treatment remains unchanged,abdominal vibration therapy can improve the TCM symptom score of patients with metabolic syndrome and improve the quality of life of patients with metabolic syndrome.3.On the premise that the conventional basic treatment remains unchanged,abdominal vibration therapy can effectively improve TG and HDL-C,but has no obvious effect on TC,LDL-C and FPG.It is suggested that vibration abdominal therapy can improve the disorder of glucose and lipid metabolism in patients with metabolic syndrome to a certain extent. |
