Lu Xun has a deep attainment for image by searching sophisticated data in Lu Xun's works,and they showed a close combination between language and image.Since the first vernacular novel Lunatic's Diary published in 1918,Lu Xun's works have aroused more and more attention because of his criticism and ideological content.Fr om charaeter medium to image medim,different artists from different ages and different specialties used the most poular techniques to express their devotions of understnading and spreading to Lu Xun's works,so as to continue its artistic life.In this paper,we will foucse on the novel Blessing,try to explore the meaning of image extension about it from the perspective of image symbol.There are four chapters in this paper,which are based on the relationship between image and literature.In the first chapter,the author makes a textual interpretation of the novel,and describes the relationship between the image and Lu Xun 's literature.The second chapter analizes the plane images,and studies the comic books of Feng Zikai,Huang Yinghao,the illustrations of Zhao Yannian,Fan Zeng,Ding Cong and Jiang Zhaohe from the aspects of performance,scene selection and narrative rhythm.The third chapter makes a case study of the film Blessing took in 1956 and the Shaoxing opera Xianglin Sao took in 1978,summarizes the other forms of adaptation.And then analizes the re-creation of the films from the aspects of theme presentation,plot setting and narrative techniques,so as to take a deep thinking of them.At last,the author compares the spread and acceptance of the three forms.On this basis,it explores the meaning and influence of the image adaptation of Blessing,so to expand the connotation and dimension of Lu Xun 's novel research.
