The woodblock print originated in the ancient engraving printing technology,from the tools of dissemination of human civilization,to the artist's personal creative media,the woodblock print cultural identity and function have changed a lot,in the woodblock print language from the original black and white line carved to the contemporary diversified presentation,follow the footsteps of the times.This paper first clarifies the concept of the woodblock print and its language characteristics,and from the media point of view in-depth analysis of the woodblock print language behind the cultural attributes.Secondly,the development of the woodblock print language is summarized as four important time nodes to discuss:Respectively,the ancient part of the last century,the fifties to seventies,eighties and contemporary parts.At the same time,many representative works of artists as an example,respectively,for each time period of the woodblock print language analysis.Thirdly,from the application and understanding of digital technology,it further explores the influence of digital technology on artistic creation and the application of digital technology in the woodblock print creation.Finally,combined with graduation creation and practice to talk about their own woodblock print language awareness and sentiment.
