A Comparative Study On The Pragmatics Of Personal Deixis In Russian And Chinese

Deixis is a common phenomenon in daily languages.As one of the most important subjects in the pragmatics,deixis is the most obvious reflection of the close relationship between language structure and context,which plays a vital role in the development of human language.The word or the language structure,which indicates the indicated information,completes the indicated function,we call it deixis,the person deixis namely the call of communication when people communicate with each other,its function lies in the explicit the role of participator in the communication.According to the information of the network,whether it is Russian,English or Chinese,the research on personal deixis is fruitful,however,the previous research focuses on the formal and grammatical static research,focusing on the analysis of a single context used by person deixis,and lacks in its choice and function.In addition,it is not very common to explore the strategies of different person deixis and analyze the reasons behind the selection in Russian-Chinese comparison,and in the past,the use of speech and classroom discourse can not fully reveal the characteristics and regularity of Russian-Chinese personal deixis.Influenced by the national culture and the way of thinking,the personal deixis and its usage in various languages are different,because of the rich morphological changes of Russian,the person deixis has more expressions and semantics than Chinese,while the Chinese person deixis is mainly realized by the way of lexical substitution.The reason behind the use of Russian-Chinese personal deixis is worth exploring.On the basis of reference to the authoritative thought and theory of personal deixis in domestic and foreign pragmatics circles,we use the comparative and empirical analysis methods,this paper takes both the static level of the Russian-Chinese personal deixis—the contrast of means of expression and the dynamic level—the pragmatics comparison into account,and also supplemented by the quantitative investigation in different texts based on corpus,thus revealing the similarities and differences in the expression and use of person deixis in the Russian and Chinese.
