Research On The Evolution Of Chinese Documentary Film Creation After Reform And Opening Up

After the reform and opening up,China recorded a new development in documentary film.Looking back the past 40 years,development of China's documentary film has not been smooth plain sailing,that experienced brilliant,but experienced a downturn.In recent years,China's documentary films have drawn on previous creative experiences and explored new creative modes.The number of productions and box office results have all improved significantly.Domestically produced documentary movies have gradually grown into an important player in the film industry in China.However,the development of home-made documentary films is still at an exploratory stage.There are still many problems in terms of creative ideas,content forms,production techniques,and market operations.These problems are the inevitable process that accompanies the development of the industry.Only by valuing and exploring the solution,that the documentary movie can be expected to become a new pole in the development of the Chinese cultural industry.This article clarifies the history of documentary film creation after reform and opening up,and analyzes the changes and transformations of documentary films in the creation concept,subject matter content,narrative strategies,etc.And discusses the aesthetic appeals of different times.Rethinking the problems and deficiencies in documentary film creation,trying to give some coping strategies and thinking.This paper mainly has four aspects:The first chapter is to study the basic work,and on the basis of accurately grasping the concept of documentary film,to further sort out the development history of our country's documentary film,it is determined as the following three stages of development:the restoration period of creation 1978-1989;the creation transformation period:1990-2005;creative exploration period:2006-2017.Chapter Two:The Evolution of the Idea of Documentary Film Creation in China.Propose three creative concepts and their representations and limitations that affect our country's record film creation,that is the Grierson idea that advocates the function of movie propaganda;the pursuit of objectivity and reality of the theory of documentary relevance;the third period Diversification of creative ideas,from a dominant concept to a variety of ideas coexist.The third chapter proposes the changes in the subject matter of Chinese record film creation under different era backgrounds.After the Reform and Opening-up,from tracing the history and reality of national events and heroes to focusing on reflecting the life of people at the bottom of the society and paying equal attention to various themes.Together,it shows a trend of diversification.The fourth chapter analyzes the narrative strategies of Chinese record films,and summarizes the salient features of narrative perspectives,narrative language and narrative techniques.At the beginning of the reform and opening up,the record film adopts an omniscience and all-round perspective,and uses the single narrative language of the narration and picture to visually express the creative ideology.After the 1990s,the documentary film used a spectator's external focus and long shots and dilute the subjective expression and return to the reality.After 2006,the storytelling strategy was adopted to break through the original narrative language norms and make the film even more appealing.The fifth chapter is mainly based on the first two chapters,analyzes the reasons for the evolution of documentary film creation,and links with the current creative practice,to analyze the major issues in the current development of documentary film,and at the same time,to propose the targeted constructive opinions for future records.So as to provides some lessons for the development of the documentary film.The epilogue section outlines the evolution of Chinese record film creation,and looks forward to the future development of documentary film.Recording film creation can only achieve long-term development by following the pace of the times,attaching importance to the needs of the audience,advancing with the times,innovating continuously,absorbing and referencing.
