Reflections On The Deviation Of Science From Western Visual Arts In The 20th Century

This essay aims to broaden our understanding of 20 th century western visual art by analysing the deviation and reflection of science in the context of aesthetic modernity.There are three parts in the main body.The first part analyses the reasons of deviation.The second chapter focuses on the creations of Matisse,Kandinsky,Duchamp and Tinguely.The third chapter discusses the reflection.This paper argues that the visual arts lead people to think about the impact of science and technology on the social and human values.
