In the Song Dynasty,Zhu Xi highly praised the “Great Learning” as the “gate for beginners” and“Ancient people for the second time.” The study of " Great Learning " thought has always been focus on the academic community.For instance,Wang Yangming and Wang Fuzhi have had extensive influence in history.Modern scholars such as Wu Yongbo,Yan Lisan,all focused on the use of the meaning of " Great Learning ".The modern neo-Confucian who also serves Confucianism of the Song and Ming Dynasties,especially his theory of the nature of mind,also focuses on this issue,such as Mou Zongsan and Xu Fuguan.As one of the representatives of the second generation of modern Neo-Confucianism,Xu Fuguan devoted himself to the work of modernizing and interpreting Chinese culture in his later years,especially to the excavation of the preQin ideology and culture.His ideological studies on "Great Learning " typically reflect the basic characteristics and paths of Xu Fuguan's interpretation thoughts."Great Learning " is one of the classical "Four Books" of Confucianism,which was praised by the song dynasty as the "door for the first learning to enter virtue".Since the song and Ming dynasties,scholars have attached Great Learning importance to the interpretation of the Great Learning.For example,the interpretations of the second cheng,zhu zi,Yang Ming and ship shan have exerted a profound influence on the history.In modern times,scholars have got rid of theparadigm of Confucian classics in their research on Great Learning,and a new direction has emerged.As a successor to the theory of song and Ming dynasties,modern neo-confucianism has maintained a positive interpretation of Great Learning,which is different from the mainstream of The Times.As one of the representative figures of the second generation of modern neoconfucianism,xu fuguan has his own interpretation and interpretation of Great Learning,which can reflect the basic characteristics and paths of his own interpretation.The introduction part of this paper mainly elaborates on the research significance of xu fuguan's interpretation of Great Learning and the related studies.The research status of the art problem is sorted out to highlight the characteristics of the classical interpretation of modern neo-confucianism.In addition to the introduction,the main body consists of four chapters: the first chapter mainly deals with xu fuguan's "ideological historian" and "Confucian historian"."Democratic political theorists" and other complex aspects of identity to interpret,grasp as a classic interpretation of the subject.Xu fuguan,and then grasp the reasons of its interpretation characteristics.The second chapter mainly discusses xu fuguan's position on Great Learning.The author and the investigation of the age of formation are differentiated and reviewed.The third chapter is about xu fuguan about "Great Learning " by the analysis of the concept of righteousness and the paper traces the history of the Great Learning,xu fuguan is discussed emphatically in "moral","sincerity" interpretation "is the heart of the righteous",to analyze the "Great Learning " interpretation of the original and mistakes.At the same time,this chapter also explore the political philosophy connotation of the GreatLearning by xu fuguan in order to highlight the realistic orientation of the classic interpretation of xu fuguan.The fourth chapter is the last chapter focuses on the "Great Learning " interpretation of xu fuguan to pay comments,through to the interpretation method,interprets the characteristics of comb,in order to objectively evaluate xu fuguan classical interpretation of the gain and loss.
