A Simulated Chinese-English Simultaneous Interpretation Report On Xiaomi Mix 2S Product Release Conference

This report is based on the simulated Chinese to English simultaneous interpretation practice of Xiaomi Mix 2S release conference aiming at exploring the simultaneous interpretation characteristics and solving problems encountered in the practice under the guidance of the interpretive theory.According to the differences between Chinese and Western cultures,as well as the features of the mobile phone industry,four strategies were chosen to solve the problems in this practice.The report includes five chapters:chapter one briefly introduces the background and the objective of this task;chapter two is description of the task process;chapter three mainly introduces the interpretive theory and the strategies adopted under its guidance;chapter four describes the strategies applied in the task:free interpretation,supplement information,structural reorganization and logical reorganization;chapter five is conclusion.This practice had been completed under the guidance of the interpretive theory,and the results and inspirations had been summarized to guide the author's interpreting learning and interpreting career development.
