From Spontaneity To Consciousness: A Preliminary Study Of The History Of Chinese Economic Folklore Research In The New Era (1978-2005)

This paper studies the development process of economic folk-custom research in the new period,and tries to clarify the stage,influence and trend of the development of economic folklore in contemporary China.This paper holds that the study of Chinese economic folk-custom in the new period(1978-2005)can be divided into three stages:the beginning of economic folk-custom research in the early 1990s and the early 1990s.In this stage,scholars actively face the tide of economic construction in the new era,and spontaneously explore the role of folk customs in it.From the early 1990s to the end of the 20th century,it was a conscious stage of economic folklore.In this stage,Zhong Jingwen economic folklore into folklore subject system,He Xuewei published the first book on economic folklore subject overview the economic folklore,economic folklore formally birth.At the beginning of the 21st century,it is a conscious stage for the practice of economic folklore.At this stage,scholars pay special attention to the commercial practice of folk culture industry,folk economy,folk tourism and other folk customs.Generally speaking,the theme of economic folk-custom research in the new period can be summarized into three aspects:first,the exploration of folk custom and economic relations;The second is the research on the commercialization of folk custom,such as folk custom tourism,folk economy,etc.The third is the study of theory and discipline construction.Theory and discipline construction of research generally driven by the research of social phenomenon,when scholars found that the present discipline theory and unable to support the study of social phenomena,tends to explore new concepts and ideas the consciousness of the new discipline system.The economic folk-custom study of the new period has experienced this development process from spontaneous to conscious.In the 1980s,scholars mainly carried out research on various social customs and economy closely,and called for the cross-study of folklore and economics.These studies are scattered,reflecting the scholars' sense of the necessity of economic folklore,but it is not clear.By this time,the seeds of the discipline had been buried,and they were gathering strength to wait for the break.Then,ushered in the 90 s a climax of subject construction,and economic folklore formally birth and establish the subject frame,the international folk idea of marketing,business,folklore and other disciplines have also been put forward and discussed.The upsurge of discipline construction shows that scholars have started to think and systematically explore the scattered folk economic phenomena,from spontaneous research to the consciousness of subject consciousness.In the new century,thanks to the previous scholars' theoretical exploration and discipline construction,scholars in this period focused on the application fields such as folk economy and folk culture industry.They are not only the concept study on the folk economy,is also the case study on the folk culture industry,also for folk culture industry development of zhenhai,try to use subject knowledge services for the application of folk practice,all this suggests that practice consciously have germination.
