In interpersonal activities,we need to make certain judgments about the personality characteristics, behavioral habits, appearance, posture, and his or her attitude towards oneself. This process is called interpersonal perception. However, there are often some cognitive bias in this process.People often have different perceptions based on the different characteristics of the audience, for example, people tend to think that boys are braver, stronger and capable, and girls are more tender, delicate and emotional. So,whether the Chinese Zodiac which as an individual's identity of the year of birth with Chinese cultural characteristics, may also affect people's cognition and judgment to different people or not ? Will this influence extend to different career recruitment situations? Therefore,we focus on the study of people's cognition of the 12 groups and use four sub-studies to explore the cognition in different recruitment situations. The specific studies are as follows:On the basis of the Big Two model of social perception and the content of interpersonal perception of Chinese native culture,we added the dimension of Junzi in study one,and measured the perception of 12 groups by a questionnaire composed of three-dimensional interpersonal perception model. The results are as follows: According to the three dimensional model of interpersonal perception,12 groups were divided into four types: people who were born in the years of the Pig?Dog?Ox and Rabbit are high warmth-high Junzi;people who were born in the year of the Horse,Rooster and Sheep are low competence-lower Junzi;people who were born in the year of the Tiger and Dragon are high competence-higher Junzi;people who were born in the year of the Rat?Monkey and Snake are low warmth-low Junzi. We further explore that people's cognition of different groups in the context of recruitment in which occupation is divided into high and low power types according to the level of power;the service type and the technical type according to the service object of the occupation. The results are that: In the four positions of high-power,it is generally recognized that people who were born in the year of the Tiger and Dragon are more suitable for manager, president, governor of a province and director of a factory;while in low-power positions, there is a lack of consistency that it is widely believed that people who were born in the year of the Tiger and Dragon are more suitable for teaching assistant, who were born in the year of the Roosterand Sheep are more suitable for office clerk. In high-power occupation, people were born in the year of the Pig and Dog are considered to be better suited to the position of president;while in low-power occupation, people were born in the year of the Pig and Dog are also better suited to both office clerk and worker. Both in four high-power positions and four low-power positions, people are more likely to think that high gentleman, such as people who were born in the year of the Ox and Dog,are better suitable. In the service occupation, people tend to think that people who were born in the year of the Tiger and Dragon are more suitable to be the waiter;but in the technical occupation, they are considered to be more suitable to be web programmer. On the whole, the Chinese Zodiac has an effect on interpersonal perception, and people have different perceptions of different groups. This kind of differential cognition is also reflected in the situation of career recruitment.People generally prefer people who were born in the year of the Tiger,Dragon,Ox and Dog in both high and low power types of occupation. And people who were born in the year of the Tiger and Dragon are also preferred in the partial service and some technical occupations.
