Through the study of the self-discipline of visual art,this paper expounds the characteristics of visual art as an expression of non text narrative.Visual art has unique expression system,can get rid of language coverage,by pure visual experience to complete the transfer of aesthetic expression,without narrative language logic,interventional interpretation and presentation from visual perception to art itself convey the theme,artistic conception in pairs.Through the analysis of the concept of "heteronomy" and "self-discipline" in visual art,this paper analyzes the uniqueness and value of visual art in the contemporary era.Traditional painting,sculpture and so on are used as a medium to convey collective or individual will,which is a dependency of others.Artists convey some information by describing the objective,because their literary narration conceals the value of vision itself.In the visual arts from the recording tool character,main body value was specified to the spiritual significance,seemingly do not depict the objective physical world works unprecedented self-discipline,but still inseparable from the subordinate role,in the spirit of domination art from the public context into the private context,is still not completely selfdiscipline.At present,the development of science and the transformation of people's spiritual world makes our understanding of the world's angle and height changed,natural does not change because of our subjective consciousness,subjective nature does not override on the outside of awareness and consciousness of things equal,it is important to judge the development of visual arts.In the present degree of cognition,visual art should have different propositions,and the relationship between the artist and the work needs to be reexamined.In the end,after the self denial of consciousness,the visual art will be faced with self-discipline and self-discipline.
