This paper is based on the study of the history of Chinese grammar, especially the passive study of Chinese.Using the theory of cognitive linguistics and structural grammar, combining with the characteristics of the Chinese translation of buddhist sutras, and using the same method of translation and translation, all the passive investigations and depictions were conducted on the translated copies of Lotus Sutra by the two translated copies of ‘miaofa hua' and ‘zhengfa hua'.On this basis,we use the historical comparative linguistics method to compare the passive in the two translations, and analyze the characteristics of the two versions, then the general induction and summary of all kinds of passive features are carried out.We will also make necessary investigation and exploration of the passive source and its evolution in the book of Lotus Sutra. It is hoped that it can contribute a little to the study of Chinese history, especially the passive study of Chinese ancient Chinese. The paper is divided into three parts:The first part is the introduction. The content includes the selection of the topic, the introduction of the translator and translation of Lotus Sutra, the interpretation of the basic information of the ancient Chinese language and the study of the current status of the passive study of the Chinese ancient Chinese language and the selection and research methods of the research language material. The second part is the text.It is the main content of the study of the Chinese classics and the passive comparative study.1.Description and contrast of each type in the Lotus Sutra. In the first place, the specific examples of each type of passive in the two versions are compared, and then each passive is analyzed and compared in detail.According to statistics, the passive use frequency in zhengfa hua jing is larger, especially ‘wei……suo' type and ‘jian' type are in the majority;and in the lotus sutra,‘wei … … suo' passive type is mainly passive, and the other types are relatively balanced.2.Passive research of various types in the Lotus Sutra. On the basis of the description and comparison of the first chapter, this paper compares and summarizes the characteristics of each type of passive in two buddhist texts. It firstly summarize that characteristics of each type of passive verb, the donor and the predicate structure, then the passive of the two versions of the Sutra is compared internally.3.The grammaticalizationJian of ‘jian' type of passive construction. This part mainly explores and discusses the generation mechanism and development evolution of ‘jian' type from the perspective of applied cognitive linguistics. In this article, the word "see" is derived from the "seeing" and the "appearing" and the two of the meanings of the two benefit, and then two virtual paths are formed, which eventually become a passive mark.In this process, the word ‘jian' is changed from the real word to the constructive grammaticalization of the passive mark. The third part is the conclusion.Summarize the whole text and draw the conclusion.
