As an important part of the type of film,gangster films have been developing rapidly and have been active on the big screen,and have been loved and welcomed by the audience.Since the new century,the Chinese gangster film referring to the Hollywood model,the formation of the characteristics of China,injected fresh vitality for the Chinese film.This paper mainly describes the characteristics of the type development of the Chinese gangster film since the new century,which is divided into four chapters,two and three of which are the key points of the paper.The first chapter introduces the evolution of the type of the Chinese mainland gangster films.It is mainly the general situation of the development of the Chinese gangster films since the new century,and discusses the characteristics of the development of the Chinese gangster films in various periods and stages,and gradually develops from the "public security films" under the influence of the policy to the pluralistic directions.The second chapter explains the type of elements in mainland gangster films since the new century,to analyze the types and characteristics of mainland gangster films from theme,characters,image style and emotional mechanism.Select the most representative aspects of the gangster films to explore the general situation of the mainland gangster films,discuss the evolution of the hero image under the theme of human salvation,and analyze the image style of the mainland gangster films from the perspective of documentary reality and black style.At the same time,it also analyzes the intrinsic significance of the gangster film from the inner emotion.The third chapter discusses the narrative strategies of mainland gangster films since the new century,respectively,from the analysis of narrative strategies,narrative structure and narrative perspective strategy to analyze the narrative characteristics of the mainland police and bandit film.In the narration further consummates the elaboration angle and the content.The fourth chapter summarizes the aesthetic significance of mainland gangster films,that is,the functional theory of the film.The mainland gangster films are thecarrier of ideology and also the art works under the commercial demands.Therefore,it should be better integrated with the art in the commercial model.Realize the aesthetic function of gangster film.This paper mainly combines the mainland gangster film since the new century,through the type analysis of the mainland gangster film,thus carries on the summary and the reflection to our country gangster film,draws the experience and the lesson,and has enriched the mainland gangster film research.I hope the development of the Chinese mainland gangster films more and more open,to create brilliant.
