Mongolia is the second largest inland country in the world,it’s located between China and Russia.More than 80% of Mongolian citizens are Khalkha and the official language in Mongolia is Khalkha Mongolian language.Because of the influences of the politics and the geography,Mongolian language has been several major changes and reforms.The most important reform is to abandon the traditional Mongolian language which has been already used for 800 years,instead of using Slavic characters in language writing,which is called New Mongolian Language.As time goes on and the world pattern changes,Mongolian realized the lost of traditional culture,a new series of education policies has been started by Mongolian government to recover the lost culture.At same time,to maintain political status and international discourse power in the world,a series of education policies and plans has been made to cultivate more and more foreign language talents.The article is divided into five parts in the following;The introduction part introduced the article background,purpose and significance,theoretical basis,research methods,writing thoughts and framework of the article.The first chapter introduced the overall situation of Mongolia,which includes physical geography,politics,history,economy and religion.The second chapter introduced the situation of Mongolian language,including official language,education language,media language and religion language.The third chapter mainly talked about the legislation of Mongolian language and relevant education policies.In this chapter,it firstly talks the reform of the Mongolian language and its advantages and disadvantages.Then,it talks relevant policies and regulations.In the ending part of this chapter,it mainly talks about the history and the development of foreign language in Mongolia.The ending part summarized all above contents and pointed out the innovation and deficiency of the article.
