The Realistic Writing Of Li Peifu's Novels In The Context Of "post-enlightenment"

Li Peifu is a representative of the group of writers in Henan.Since he entered the literary world,Li Peifu has always paid attention to the fate of peasants in the context of social changes in China and has presented the methodological aspects of contemporary life with realistic writing.Over the years,he has been creeping on the vast land of the plains in the central plains of Henan,committing himself to studying the relationship between soil and plants.He not only extended his brushwork to the power field at the grassroots level in rural areas,but also concerned about the alienation of human nature in the urban-rural flow.His works have great realistic meaning and penetrating power of thought.Facing the loss of humanistic spirit and the marginalization of enlightenment narration,he reconstructed the interrupted enlightenment tradition,reflected on the legacy of history,criticized the bizarre real world,called for the establishment of an independent,free and sound personality,taking pen as the flag shows that the intellectuals should have the responsibility.This article is divided into three parts,with the purpose of examining the realistic writing of Li Peifu’s novels under the atmosphere of "post-enlightenment" and the cultural context.The first part is the introduction,which is based on the research status of predecessors to determine the topics,elaborates the value and significance of the topics,and selects the appropriate research methods.The second part is the main part of the dissertation,which contains four chapters and eleven sections.The first chapter is the logical starting point of this article,reviewing the resources of China’s enlightenment and pointing out the necessity of repeating the enlightenment narration.The first section begins with the enlightenment in the 18 th century in the west,combs the enlightenment context of May Fourth Movement in Chinese history and enlightenment in the new era,and defines the concept of "enlightenment".Section two analyzes the relationship between "enlightenment" and "post-enlightenment" in the context of globalization enlightenment to elucidate the difference between "post-enlightenment " and " Enlightenment " and put forward the defects of the two previous enlightenments in Chinese history and the reason why Li Peifu continues to promote enlightenment.The second chapter discusses Li Peifu’s inheritance and development of the theme of "critique of national character" in the context of "post-enlightenment." The first section defines the meaning of "national character",indicates that the term "national character" is the key word of enlightenment literature in our country.The second section proposes the meaning of "post-enlightenment",combining Li Peifu’s specific texts and analyzing his explanation of "national character".The third section discusses Li Peifu’s introspection and reconstruction of "national character",criticizes the inferiority of the rural rulers and ordinary villagers while presenting the mode of operation of rural grassroots power.The third chapter discusses Li Peifu’s difficulties in his creative process.The first section explains the dilemmas caused by the free flow of urban and rural areas and the gradual disappearance of rural areas in the 1990 s.The second section points out that the author has not enough reflection on the grand political norms and at the same time leads to the dual opposition between urban and rural areas ethical moral idealism and lack of modernity of works.The third section analyzes the plight of Li Peifu’s novels and causes the phenomenon of textual self-repetition and the single aesthetic paradigm due to sticking to the realism.Chapter Four discusses the regional characteristics of Li Peifu’s novels.The first section expounds Henan’s tradition of Enlightenment Realism,the criticism of the writer’s power in Henan and the originality of Li Peifu’s works.The second section analyzes the influence of regional culture on Li Peifu’s creative mentality and creative content,pointing out that he is different from the writers in Shaanxi and Shanxi.The third section,from the perspective of language in Li Peifu’s novels,discusses the local charm of Henan dialect in his works and the overall poetic character.The third part is the conclusion,a brief summary of the previous summary.The author places Li Peifu in the history of literature,analyzes the unique features and advantages of his creation,and points out the problems and shortcomings in his works.
