China has made continuous reforms on demography in recent years.From selective two child policy to universal two child policy,these polices have born early demographic fruits,resulting in the year on year increase of the number of elementary school age.Tutoring organizations represented by elementary education institutions are thriving in an unprecedented speed under the push of parents who care more about their children ' s education and the preferential policies on promoting education.The development trend will continue in the future Tutoring institutions have been showing transformation from extensive expansion at the earlier stage.They shift their focus from extensive expanding to building their own brands to seize the market,which will be the trend for further development of Tutoring organizations.Based on the survey conducted,it is found that there are shortcomings in the design of current sign system for primary school tutoring institutions.First of all,there is no difference in the overall environment of some institutions and that for adult training.Second,the lack of designing in the sign system results in limitation to children's exploration competence,as well as their extracurricular rest and relaxation.Besides,some institutions are decorated too exquisitely,which are divorced from the features of the tutoring institutions,ignoring the preferences and characteristics of children in the tutoring space,and thus becoming a fancy design.Under the pressure of examinations,the psychological development of children needs to be paid attention to.While the tutoring institutions are mostly located in commercial buildings with convenient traffic,rush flows and other factors will also affect the mental health of children.It is the demand of the new era to improve children's learning environment by constructing a complete sigh system,combine design and education,establish the educational brand by good design,protect children's mental health,implement the idea of aesthetic education,and cultivate all-round development of people.It is necessary to set up a sign system for primary school tutoring institutions.Sign system is the information interface between teaching environment and the children.It not only creates an aesthetic environment,but also assist children in their overall activity in the tutoring space.Primary school time is the primary stage of learning.Once the behavioral and psychological models are formed,they will have long-time impact to children.Under environmental interaction,tutoring environment has huge influence on children's psychological and physiological feelings.In addition,for the tutoring institutions,an excellent system will also help the audience to form an overall brand identity,creating their own brand awareness.This article is mainly elaborated from the following aspects.First,it discusses and defines the meaning and scope of the sign design and summarizes that the broadness of the sign system has not only reaches into the guiding role,but that all information that can convey special and guiding demands can be regarded as part of sign system.Second,it proceeds with the application of sign system in primary school tutoring space,starts with learning space,game zone and comprehensive sphere in combination of new theories on school education to and the practical demand to determine the principles,scope and specific application of sign system.Third,it studies the sigh system based on actual demand and discusses the influence of children's perceptions to color,graphics,and font on the sign design of tutoring institutions.At last,it draw conclusions based on analysis of excellent cases of sign system made by a tutoring institution,and provides inspiration in the style and features of sign system designing in tutoring institutions.This paper summarizes the experience by taking the sign system of Shuangwei Education as an example and conducts practical analysis based on the on-site application of the sign system application in tutoring institutions.This paper also made some prospects for the future development of the sign system in primary school tutoring institutions.It arouses children ' s multiple senses by environment setting.In the future,sign system is not only visual,but also audial and olfactory.The green space has also been introduced to the sign system building of indoor system to create a learning space of more freedom.It is hoped that this paper can provide some inspiration to improve the sign system design in primary school tutoring institutions and ensure that the environment can truly benefit children in education,so as to help integrated development of education,imagination,children and the society through designing.
