Cui Bai's Spiritual Exploration Of "Sketch From Life" In Flower And Bird Painting

The Song dynasty is the flourishing period of the development of the flower-and-bird paintings.The court painting?folk painting and literati painting form their own system including each other mutual confluence?absorption?permeability?influence?and innovation.It makes the Song dynasty flower-and-bird paintings get unprecedented development and has important influence on later generation.Cui Bai is a collector of flower and bird painting in Song dynasty and it is compatible and unique.Cui Bai was good at painting from life and his sketching was based on the traditional "external division,the center source".It is not only to paint the outer contour for things,but also to eliminate all distractions and probe into the natural characteristics of everything life and habits of study,so as to reach the spiritual state of being in one.On the basis of traditional painting spirit,Cui Bai break and abandoned the huang the formality and conformism sketch mode,injecting new connotation of the spirit for the traditional sketch,and promoting the development of the Song dynasty flower-and-bird paintings.Through the analysis of the spirit of "sketching" of Cui Bai's painting and bird painting,this paper aims to get more enlightenment from it.This paper discusses Cui Bai's "sketching" spirit from four parts.The first part gives a brief summary of his life and artistic achievements,and it is his life experience that foreshadowed his later "sketching" spirit.The second part is to explore his unique spirit of "sketching" spirit,analyze the context of his "sketching" spirit,so that we can understand the context of his undertaking.The third part is to explore the spirit of his"sketching" spirit through analyzing his works,so that we can understand the connotation of his sketching spirit more concretely.The fourth part is the influence of Cui Bai's "sketching" spirit on the painting of flowers and birds in Song dynasty,and further elaborates the status of Cui Bai in the Song dynasty.And it try to demonstrate the inspiration of this kind of sketching spirit represented by Cui Bai and its influence on my creation.Through the above analysis to deepen our understanding of Cui Bai sketch spirit,it makes us more aware of our sketch deficiency and realizes the importance of"sketch" in flower-bird painting creation.
