In the basic education stage,one task of English curriculum is to enable students to master basic language knowledge and basic English skills,and form comprehensive language application ability.As one of the four basic skills that must be mastered in the process of English learning,writing is an indispensable part of English teaching."Compulsory Education English Curriculum Standard" also has stated clearly that writing is one of the basic skills of primary school English teaching,and the writing skills of senior students should be reached the second level in primary schools.Therefore,higher grades of English writing in the primary school English teaching is playing a more and more important role.However,there are various problems in the current English writing of high grade students in primary schools.These problems directly affect students' English writing level and reduce their interest in writing.This study takes TZ Primary School as an example,and focuses on a practical study of the high grade students in primary schools English micro writing training with textbooks.This paper illustrates the high grade students in primary schools English writing training research background,significance and research status at home and abroad,The concept of English micro-writing training in primary school is defined,it established the research contents,research objectives,research methods and theoretical basis.Then,an investigation of the present situation of English micro writing training in the senior grade of primary schools through a questionnaire survey of students,a text analysis of the students' workings,and a targeted interview with the teachers.The findings show that senior students are in urgent need to develop in English micro writing,such as sentence errors,poor contents,loose structure,low interest.There are some problems in micro writing teaching,such as the lack of attention to micro writing,the lack of effectiveness in the process of English writing training and the inadequate writing evaluation.The subjective and objective causes for the problems in micro writing training are analyzed.Then,according to the results of the research,we make a plan to reform English micro writing training in the high grade of primary schools from the aspects of teaching analysis,practical design and so on.Finally,in the practice of English micro writing training in the high grade of primary schools,through analyzing the text writing task and carrying out practical research in different stages,we put forward the implementation steps of controlled micro writing training,suggestive micro writing training and free micro writing training.Meanwhile,a useful attempt was made to evaluate the way of evaluation in the process of writing,and the effect of evaluation was optimized.The paper is aimed at giving some enlightenment and reference to the teachers who are teaching English micro writing,making it possible for English micro writing to be included in the daily teaching,and thus offering some reference to teachers to improve English micro writing.
