Having excellent classroom management ability is a necessary condition for teachers to smoothly carry out classroom teaching activities.It has great practical significance for the effective promotion of English classroom management standard in senior primary school to improve the quality of senior primary English classroom.Classroom management practice needs to flexibly use modern management theories and methods,which can not only provide theoretical support for English classroom management in senior primary school,but also promote the management ability and learning ability of the students in the process of classroom management,so as to greatly improve the English classroom learning effect for senior primary school students.This paper carefully sorts out the classroom management theories at home and abroad,as well as the problems and strategies of senior English classroom management in primary school by using the literature review method,and investigate the current situation of senior English classroom management in Weifang D school by using the method of questionnaire survey.The result shows that the current situation of senior English classroom management in primary school is not that optimistic.The primary problems existing in the classroom management are listed as below: First of all,the age structure of teachers needs to be optimized.Secondly,the level of teachers' classroom management is uneven.Thirdly,there are great differences in teachers' classroom management methods.In addition,the initiative of students to participate in classroom management is low,and lastly,the evaluation standards of classroom management ability is relatively single.It is found by further analysis that the factors affecting the effectiveness of senior English classroom management in primary school include subject factors,student factors,teacher factors,environmental factors,etc.As a second language,students lack of English language environment,as well as the knowledge reserve of British and American cultural background and customs,which will lead to more difficulties in English learning for students.Teachers' teaching methods and management mechanism,as well as the environmental factors of the school will bring a certain impact on English classroom management.They're significant strategies to promote the effectiveness of senior English classroom management in primary schools by strengthening teachers' role awareness,carrying out teaching activities reasonably and effectively,creating a harmonious classroom atmosphere and implementing diversified teaching evaluation,specifically including: improving the effective management of the content and time in English classroom teaching,establishing an effective evaluation mechanism,giving full play to students' English learning initiative,developing their self management ability,enhancing teachers' role awareness,going deep into the teaching materials,choosing suitable teaching methods,strengthening student management,making relationship between teachers and students harmonious,standardizing classroom management,laying emphasis on the construction of high-quality school environment,building up a healthy family environment,creating a good social environment,and helping promote the quality of English classroom management in primary school.
