Research On The Historical Evolution Of Collective Memory Of "September 18th" In "People's Daily" (1946-2016)

In this paper,"September 18th" incident will be spun off from the commemoration of the War of Resistance Against Japan.Using the "People's Daily" database(1946-2016)as the source of historical data,we systematically and comprehensively reviewed the collective memory of the"September 18th" incident on the People's Daily.On August 1,1949,the "People's Daily" was changed from a local newspaper to a newspaper of the Central Committee of the Communist Party in China,but very few people mentioned it in the previous stage.The author started under the framework of "what kind of memories should we build","how to construct the memory of September 18" and "why do we construct the memory of September 18th" incident,dividing it into four stages:the embryonic stage(1946-1949),low tide period(1949-1978),high incidence period(1978-2005),new period(2006-2016).More specifically,during the War of Liberation,the Chinese Communist Party used the"September 18th" commemoration to target Chiang Kai-shek "selling the Northeast people",making it an advantageous weapon to seize the revolutionary regime.In the 20 years since the founding of new China in the era of Mao Zedong,such as the Great Leap Forward,the Great Steelmaking and the Three Red Flags,the words "national humiliation" and "trauma" strongly contrasted with that era.The commemoration of "September 18th" incident entered a period of low ebb;since the reform and opening up,the friction between China and Japan has continued.Such sensitive activities as"visits to the Yasukuni Shrine," "tampering with textbooks," "buying island farce" and other sensitive activities marked the beginning of the high-rise period in September 18th incident.Since 2006,the Chinese Communist Party's commemoration of "September 18th"incident has entered a stage of institutionalization and normalization,and the mainstream of the "9-18" spirit and value heritage has been prevailing.However,each stage is mainly launched by means of commemorative reports and embedded reports.There are a large amount of information in commemorative reports,but a small number of texts.There are a large number of embedded reports but a small amount of information,and the two are mutually complementary and mutually complementary Completed the "nine-one" collective memory of the shape.As a complicated historical event,"September 18th" incident reflects the different demands of the Communist Party of China in different periods of expression and reinforces political identity,national identity or value identity,thus forming the dynamic trajectory of the "September 18th" incident collective memory.
