The Study Of Beasts In The Book Of Songs

In the ancient poem "Book of Songs",there are many poems related to animals.In recent years,the research of the animals has attracted some scholars’ eyes,but most of the animals in the "Book of Songs" are classified in the form of animal or some kind of animals in a single form.The author thinks it is necessary to make a more systematic study of them.Beast is a small category of "Book of Songs" involving a total of 26 kinds of mammals such as the horse,Si,rabbit,Lin,rat,sheep,and deer,deer to much(Lu,dog,xian,Lu,dog,Xian,rest,arrogant),fox,tiger,elephant,cattle,leopard,wolf,Huan(raccoondog)Shuoshu,fox,li,black,bear,jackal,monkey,pig,sheep,cats,Zang.The author takes the "Book of Songs" and the beast related poems as a copy for the record or for reproduction,taking 26 kinds of animals as the research object,taking the characteristics of the Book of Songs era.The cultural implication of the beast and the aesthetic inclination of the people are the way to study on the "Book of Songs" in animals.This paper is divided into three parts,five chapters,discusses the beasts in "Book of Songs".The introduction part makes an overall research of the animals in the Book of Songs.There are 26 species of beasts mentioned in the Book of Songs in poems articles.The author researching on the previous studies to clarify the context and explore the previous research on how to do the "Book of Songs" images,with the aim of laying foundation for the further study.In addition,the author defines the related concepts,chiefly Ming Wu,definition of beasts,which is a briefness theoretical preparation for the following beasts research.The second part is main body,which is divided into five chapters.The first chapter is on the "Book of Songs" in the use of a comprehensive test of the beast.The author through the analysis and statistics of "Book of Songs" in beasts,simultaneously analysis simply the use of exposition,comparison,affective image in the Book of Songs’ beasts.The second chapter focuses on the analysis of the beasts covered by mysticism in the Book of Songs,and the deification and sacrifice influenced of this mysticism.In Chapter third,desalination of mysticism,animals gradually became a symbol of status,armor,then this,with an important carrier and symbol of power its description.The fourth chapter is to dig out who--the personification of the beast,for some poets through the intrinsic quality of animals or external behavior,or to praise a sage,or in order to satirize the crafty negative people.This application makes the whole chapter more vivid and makes the readers more receptive.And the animals that appear in the Book of Songs also transmit people’s feelings,which reflects the living conditions of people in that era.The fifth chapter analyzes the characteristics of the beasts in the Book of Songs,the external movements of the animals,the state of the spirit,and the internal quality of the animals.Combined with these features,a brief summary of the effects of the use of the "Book of Songs" beasts was made.The third part is the conclusion,"Book of Songs" based on the origin of people’s life,these animals are the most intimate friends in people’s daily life,they reflect the "Book of Songs" era of all aspects of people’s lives,as we know that time provides a window to understand the era.
