Fantastic Beasts,strange Creatures And Natural History ——The Shaping And Metaphor Of Animal Images In Painting Art

Animals have been used as painting objects for a long time,reflecting that they are closely related to human beings.From ancient times to the present,there are countless artists who create on the theme of animals.Animals are different from other painting themes.They are more like friends of human beings,and they have lived together with human beings for thousands of years.The author studies this paper from four aspects: the history of animal painting,the shaping process of animal painting,the metaphor of animal painting and the author’s creation of animal painting.In the first part,the author introduces the history of animal painting,which research from both Chinese and Western perspectives.In the second part,for the shaping process of animal painting,the author tells the characteristics of animal painting in each period in detail.The third part is the metaphor of animal painting.The author lists the animal paintings of representative artists,and classifies them into eight kinds of metaphors.The fourth part is the author’s creation of animal paintings.In this part,the author describes the development process and meaning of his animal paintings.
