This research analyzes Korean and Chinese interrogative discourse marker'mueo((?))','museun((?))','eodi((?))','wae((?))','eoddeohge((?))','shenme(??)','nali/naer(??/??)','zenme(??)' from semantic,pragmatic and syntactic respects and tries to find out the similarities and differences.Firstly,the auther tried to compare the semantic meanings of Korean interrogatives and Chinese interrogatives.Both Korean and Chinese interrogatives have interrogative use and non-interrogative use.When they are used as interrogatives,they all means something that peopole do not know,but the difference is that Korean interrogatives have detailed sorts while Chinese interrogatives don't.As to non-interrogative use,both Korean and Chinese interrogatives have free reference,form reference,nagation use,rhetorical use and interjective use.And the non-interrogative use is tightly related to discourse marker use.Secondly,the pragmatic functions of Korean interrogative discourse markers and Chinese interrogative discourse markers,they both have functions of talk controlling and emotion expressing.All of them can be used to stress something,most of them can be used to earn time for thinking.However,emotion expressing use is more important than talk controlling use.Emotion expressing use can be devided to many kinds of meanings,as negative emotions,positive emotions,shock,modest and so on.The most important one of interrogatives,emotion use is negative emotion use.And negative emotion have so many meanings,such as dissatisfaction,blame,dissapointment,complain,and so on.Different interrogative discourse markers have different uses,but Korean interrogative discourse markers have more meanings than Chinese.Thirdly,syntactic characteristics are discussed.Both Korean andChinene interrogative discourse markers can be used independently,but they have different uses.And then the auther find that only 'meo((?))','was((?))','nali(??)' can be used twice repeatedly.Finally,as to the place in the secentence,Korean interrogative discourse's use is more free than Chinese ones.
