Waiting as a literary motif with a strong aesthetic sense,it is not only a kind of daily life,or a form of literature, but also good vision and hope of people's heart,an important expression of the meaning of life.Pre-Qin literature was the childhood period of Chinese literature and also the first golden period of Chinese literature. It has an indispensable important status and significance in the history of Chinese literature and is an important source of Chinese nationally cultural thought, which represents the unique aesthetic psychology at the beginning of human civilization and has strong historical and practical values. From the perspective of cultural history, the social causes of the waiting in the pre-Qin period mainly consists of three aspects:First,in the primitive state of social obscurity, the human mind has formed a waiting subconscious;Second, under the rule of the slave society, the political demands formed a passive waiting;and third,it is an active waiting for people's thinking to gradually become independent and autonomous during the period of economic development and cultural upheaval. The three kinds of waiting causes are respectively represented by "king in heaven," "respecting rituals,"and "treating time," and form a waiting process of.The three kinds of,waiting causes are mainly expressed in the form of "jingtian" and "sincerity" and "waiting",forming a waiting process of collective primal mystery and individual lucidity and independence. From the perspective of literary aesthetics, the aesthetic characteristics of waiting in the pre-Qin period are mainly divided into time characteristics, aesthetic types and empathy.Waiting for the spirit is a roaming in time, which can be concretely manifested by continuity, uncertainty and identity.Further, time roaming can be further divided into two types. One is roaming in the past and waiting to be remembered. The other is roaming in time, waiting through imagination. The two waiting paradigms are different in emphasis, and the emotional results are different. But generally speaking, the waiting process is a kind of empathy for people.Taking the typical works in the pre-Qin period literature as an example,we can see that there are mainly two kinds of emotional outlets waiting for the pre-Qin period. One is waiting for returning, and the other is waiting for long-distance travel. The two waiting emotional outlets are providing the most primitive model for the Chinese poets and literary men waiting for emotion, which has a profound influence on the development of Chinese literature. We analyze what is waiting, how to wait, and ultimately it comes down to why to wait? What do you wait for?Waiting in the pre-Qin period had unique meanings and aesthetic implication which cannot be found in any other period.Firstly,it's the beauty of faith in the original civilization period, and the waiting for the pre-Qin period is full of the beautiful beauty of a primitive hegemony. It is also a primitive belief in the power of life, this is the real psychological state of human childhood;secondly the waiting in the pre-Qin period has set a waiting paradigm for later generations, that is,for the immortal beliefs and expectations of literature,Chinese literary men can rely on the power of literature to achieve "immortal" pursuit in the one-dimensional world environment. Finally, waiting in the pre-Qin period first achieved a historic transformation from collective to individual, also confirms the awakening of the spirit of independence during that time, and along with that, they made important contributions to the development of the Chinese humanistic spirit.
