A Study On The "semantic-pragmatic" Interface Of Modern Chinese Adverbial Supernormal Collocation

The transnormal collocation is a special form of collocation in verbal communication.The character connected semantic and pragmatic makes it an important content in the study of semantic-pragmatic interface.The research object of this paper is the transnormal collocation of adverbial and headword.Based on the modern Chinese corpus technology,it uses semantic and pragmatic analysis technique to explore the semantic structure and pragmatic features of this form of transnormal collocations.Guided by the New Grice Theory,the interaction-and-constraints mechanism of the semantic-pragmatic interface is explored.First of all,according to the fixity of its syntactic format,this form of transnormal collocation is divided into the supernormal syntactic structure and the supernormal semantic structure.Under this system,the extraordinary syntactic constructions can be divided into 6 types,and extraordinary semantic constructions can be divided into 5 types.Secondly,on the basis of Lexical Semantic Feature Tagging Tet(Li Baojia and Sun Daogong,2011),Syntactic Category Semantic Feature Tagging Set(Sun Daogong,2011),and Adjective Classification Dictionary(Wang Jie’an,Zhou Dianlong,et al 1993),we have analyzed the semantic structure of the 395 cases of the transnormal collocations to research for the basic semantic structure,evolution model,and the principle of the syntactic limit and semantic selectivity.Thirdly,on the basis of previous studies,this paper respectively does pragmaticreasoning about two kinds of transnormal collocations,and explores the pragmatic factors that influence the transnormal collocation in modern Chinese.We have initially explored the influence of four pragmatic factors on the semantic structure.Among them,linguistic knowledge context is an important factor that influences the evolution of the transnormal collocation.Context,background knowledge and other factors have a very limited impact on it.Finally,this paper has investigated the semantic information and pragmatic factors in the transnormal collocations of adverbial and headword,explored the important factors influencing the meaning and the pragmatic effect of the transnormal collocation,and summed up the matching rules of the semantic and pragmatic combination pattern that impacts several kinds of transnormal collocation.Based on it,we acquire an interaction-and-control mode of such kind of transnormal collocation.In general,this paper makes a preliminary analysis and exploration in the semantic structure,pragmatic features and semantic-pragmatic interaction-and-control mode of the transnormal collocations of adverbial and headword,and draws corresponding conclusions.However,some aspects still fail to expand because of the time and energy.In addition to the transnormal collocations,there are still many problems that need to be paid attention to in the view of "semantic-pragmatic interface".
