On The Research Of Zhuangzi's Aesthetics Since The "new Period"

Driven by the "aesthetic heat" of the new era,Zhuangzi's philosophical and aesthetic thoughts had once became a research hotspot in the aesthetics and literary theory circles.Although the research upsurge of Zhuangzi aesthetics has receded.some basic theoretical problems,academic methods and ideological exploration,its need to make further exploration.This paper takes the Zhuangzi esthetics research from the new period as the entry point,to sort out the origin historical of Zhuangzi's aesthetic research,to explore the main topics and characteristics of Zhuangzi's aesthetic research from the new period.At the same time,combining with the special background of the new era,reflect and comment on these research achievements.It provides necessary reference for the research of contemporary Chinese aesthetics and theory of literature and art.The first part of this paper tries to sort out the aesthetics context of Zhuangzi from the Studies of Zhuangzi in the 20 th century,and clear the research background of Zhuangzi's aesthetic problems.The second part gives an overview of Zhuangzi's aesthetic research from the new period,and classifies Zhuangzi's aesthetic research in this period,trying to tease out some representative specific issues.The third part concentrates on the three most concerned issues of the aesthetics research of Zhuangzi from the new period,the freedom meaning of "Dao",the natural attributes of " Dao " and the way to achieve "Dao".The freedom meaning of "Dao" is the core problem in the aesthetics study of Zhuangzi from the new period.The starting point of Zhuangzi's philosophy is to achieve systemic protection in the chaotic world.Zhuangzi is anxious and dissatisfied with the status quo and hopes to establish a life state that can surpass the quo status based on the principle of “Dao”— “Freedom”.Most of the researchers tried to elucidate the significance of "freedom" from the principle of "Dao",they think Zhuangzi is in the pursuit of a kind of transcendence individual spiritual freedom,and that "Dao" in this sense will eventually point to a kind of aesthetic realm.This paper argues that understand the problem of freedom in the aesthetics research of Zhuangzi is common with strong political meaning and reality,is embodied strongly recommended of the universal human nature(especially the individual spiritual freedom)and the freedom of creation about the literary and artistic in the new period.In addition,the concept of "freedom" is mixed with the elements of modern western philosophy,which also influences the interpretation of Zhuangzi's aesthetics.The conclusion part of this paper tries to summarize and reflect on the aesthetic research of Zhuangzi from the new period.The actual development of Zhuangzi's aesthetic research indicates Zhuangzi's aesthetic research is deeply connected with the social reality(new enlightenment and ideological liberation movement)in the transition period,and it also deeply influenced by the thoughts of modern western philosophy.The aesthetics research of Zhuangzi in the new period has a keen consciousness of the Times.The study of contemporary Zhuangzi,aesthetic research and literary theory have been advanced.But there are also some methodological and ideological limitations.for example,to point to the strong conclusion of their own time,there is a forcible,over-applied of the western theory.According to the article,the history of Zhuangzi's aesthetics research development from the new period(from explain Zhuangzi esthetics thought on the basis of the western theoretical to construct Zhuangzi's aesthetic system by referring to aesthetic theory),academic contributions and limitations.we need to properly reference to relevant western aesthetic theory and the Chinese traditional culture of Zhuangzi's aesthetics,to promote the new understanding of Zhuangzi's aesthetics.The author argues that Zhuangzi's philosophy still has some of the potential to dialogue with the present problem in the world,which is likely to be combined with some of the focus topics(such as ecological issues)that humans are currently focusing on,so we still can develop a lot of new space.
