The advent of unearthed literature provides new corpus for language research.At the same time,new research results also inject new blood into Chinese development.Tsinghua University Tibetan Bamboo Slips of the Warring States Period(2)(abbreviatied Tsinghua Bamboo Slips(2))was published in December2011.Recording some historical events and major events during the Dynasty of Xizhou,the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period,starting from the Wuwang,to the early Warring States,the three Jin and Chu wars,which is an extremely important history book.It is not only important for history,archaeology and literature,but also language and characters.There are 23 chapters,138 bamboo slips,3786 words(including the similar words and combined words),638 letterheads(including different forms),22 heven,and 2 words that can not be recognised.Its publishment boats great meaning to the analysis and reseash.This thesis focuses on the verbs in Tsinghua Bamboo Slips(2)as the research object,analyzes,reproduces and classifies them,and probes into the use of verbs during the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period.Except for the introduction and conclusion,this thesis is divided into four chapters,of which the second and fourth chapters are the main part of this thesis.The first chapter establishes the criteria for determining the verbs of Tsinghua Bamboo Slips(2).Based on Li Zuofeng's verb judging principle,this thesis uses the combination of grammatical function and meaning to divide the verbs of Tsinghua Bamboo Slips(2)into canned verbs(5)and basic verbs(233).Basic verbs are divided into ordinary verbs(228)and special verbs(5).The general verbs are divided into four categories: action verbs(115),trending verbs(38),perceptual verbs(29),and state verbs(46).The second chapter is about the classification and interpretation of the verbs of Tsinghua Bamboo Slips(2).First,establish the verbs and count the frequency of the verbs in the short text,and list the prefixes and frequencies.Secondly,analyze the specific meanings of the verbs in the short text,and classify them according to the specific meanings.When analyzing the meanings,we list the interpretation of "Shuo Wen Jie Zi",and the "Ancient Chinese Common Word Dictionary" to determine the verb meaning;once again,if the simple character form and the ligament form are different,analyze them;Last we analyze the relationship between the glyphs used in the bamboo slips text and Orthographic Translation;for the controversial difficult words,we summarize statements of others under the entry and give the annotations.VThe third chapter is the study of the verb meaning ofTsinghua Bamboo Slips(2).There are 183 monosyllabic verbs in Tsinghua Bamboo Slips(2),of which 71 are used in the original meaning,accounting for 39%;Tsinghua Bamboo Slips(2)has 5new words and 4 new meanings.The fourth chapter is the supplement of Tsinghua Bamboo Slips(2)to the Chinese Dictionary,which is demonstrated from three angles: supplementary entries(6),supplementary meanings(7),supplementary or advance documentary evidence(17).
