Research On The "Awkward+X" Structure In Modern Chinese

With the development of network media,more and more language phenomena have appeared in our vision.The“Ga+X”format is a new popular format on the Internet.Previous scholars have studied similar formats,but it is not deep and systematic.It explores the origin,semantics and functions of the format by using linguistic knowledge.The analysis of the format in modern Chinese has certain reference significance for the study of other formats.The paper uses the methods of documentation,description and interpretation,diachronic and synchronic research to study the format comprehensively,and collects linguistic facts on the format from the CCL(online version)corpus of Peking University and ancient dictionaries.Based on the Three Plane Theory the paper includes two parts: The first part is the introduction of this paper.It mainly combs the research situation of scholars on the “Ga+X”format.It systematically and comprehensively collates the viewpoints and achievements of scholars on the format from two aspects of diachronic and synchronic,and finds out the shortcomings of the related research,which hopes it is helpful to the study of this format.The second part is the text of this article,which is mainly divided into four chapters.The first chapter explores the origin of the format,mainly explores the ways and causes of its formation and development.The approaches include dialect and network,which are caused by3 aspects: language mechanism,social development,human psychology.;The second chapter explores the components of the “Ga+X” format,mainly investigates the origin,semantics and lexicon of the “Ga” format,and analyses the structural types of X that can enter the format,and the structural types of the whole format,in order to analyze the format meaning and the syntactic function of the format;The third chapter summarizes the format meaning of “Ga+X”through the semantic generalization of “Ga” in the previous sections,and combines with relevant corpus,concretely summarizes that “Ga+X” format can express state meaning,result meaning and comparative meaning;The fourth chapter mainly focuses on the two aspects of syntactic function and pragmatic function of “Ga+X” format analysis.Syntactically,it acts as subject,predicate,object and verb.Pragmatically,it acts as the focus of the whole sentence,express humor and ridicule,convey dissatisfaction and express evaluation.The paper explores the “Ga+X” format from the perspectives of source,component,format meaning and function,which provides a realistic basis for better understanding and using of the format in the future.
