A Study Of Chinese Neighborhoods In The Russian Far East (1891-1900)

In the Far East development process,the Chinese communities in the Far East of Russia occupy a certain position.They have a profound impact on local social life and economic development and play a constructive role in the development of the Far East.In this paper,the auther takes Chinese communities in the Far East of Russia from 1891 to 1900 as research objects and discusses their origins,management and influences in three parts.Chapter one summarizes the overall condition of the Chinese communities,including their development conditions,reginal distribution,distributive characteristics and the living condition of the overseas Chinese.Chapter two discusses in detail the management of the Chinese communities,which contains the management policies of Russia government on Chinese communities and the countermeasures of the communities responding to the policies.In this process,the Chinese communities gradually explored its own development path.And in Chapter three,the auther will objectively evaluate the Chinese communities and specifically analyze the impact of Chinese communities on both Russian and the overseas Chinese.
