Marxist Ethics Exploration Of Moral Indifference

Under the strong easterly wind of reform and opening up,China's entire social development has continued to advance vigorously for 40 years.Sustainable and healthy economic development,maintaining the world's second largest economy status for nine consecutive years,and people's living standards have generally reached a well-off level.In the process of deepening the reform,the political system has steadily advanced,showing a gratifying new situation;Cultural undertakings and industries are flourishing,and the influence of China's advanced culture on the world is expanding;With the improvement of social security system,the popularization rate of basic social security has increased significantly,and the construction of ecological civilization has developed rapidly and made significant progress;The level of science and technology has also been rapidly improved on the basis of economic development,political clarity and cultural integration.These are tangible achievements,which attract worldwide attention and are recognized by the whole country.However,since the vigorous development of market economy,under the combined effect of many internal and external reasons,many objective and subjective reasons,there has been a certain degree of decline in China's moral field: while moral models continue to emerge,moral anomie incidents occur from time to time;while great achievements have been made in the construction of socialist spiritual civilization,"moral decline" and "morality".There is a market for pessimistic opinions such as "collapse".Typical cases of moral indifference once increased and were widely disseminated by various new media.Then,in the academic circles,the attention and Research on moral indifference are seriously lagging behind.Some people even think that moral indifference is in the moral gray zone,which is not worth advocating but should not be criticized.In fact,moral indifference is essentially a kind of moral anomie.The overflow of moral indifference will have a very bad impact on personal and social development,just like other moral anomie attitudes,speech and behavior.This paper takes moral indifference as the theme,takes the scientific world outlook and methodology of Marxist philosophy as the guidance,takes ethics as the theoretical background,and integrates multi-disciplinary knowledge of psychology,politics,sociology and so on.This paper attempts to explore the internal meaning,external manifestations and causes of social moral indifference in China,and puts forward targeted countermeasures and suggestions.The full text consists of five parts:introduction,theoretical explanation of moral indifference,external manifestation of moral indifference,causes of moral indifference and governance path of moral indifference.The first part is the introduction,which mainly explains the background,significance,research methods and innovations of the topic selection,and comprehensively analyses the literature review of many documents.The second part is the theoretical explanation of moral indifference,which mainly elaborates the ethical connotation of moral and moral indifference.It believes that moral indifference is the external manifestation of ethical paradox,an act of failing to fulfill moral obligations and giving up moral rights,a vague understanding of its own way of existence and significance,and an alienation of personal morality.At the same time,it also specifically analyses morality in this part.The significance of ethical inquiry on indifference shows how the topic of moral indifference is worth discussing from the ethical perspective.The third part,the external manifestation of moral indifference,it includes two parts:theoretical and practical manifestations of moral indifference.The theoretical manifestations include the lack of moral courage,the lack of moral care,the evasion of moral obligations,the disappearance of moral trust and the loss of moral rationality;the practical manifestations include the indifference to moral anomie,the doubts to moral model characters,the dishonesty of moral norms,the overflow of bystanders,the indifference to professional ethics and family morals.The fourth part is about the causes of moral indifference.It mainly analyses the seven causes of moral indifference: the excessive use of rational economic man,the realistic crisis of moral identity,the negative influence of moral transformation,abnormal utility of moral education,inadequate participation in moral construction,the misunderstanding of moral judgment and the impetus of herd mentality.The last part is "the governance path of moral indifference",which mainly puts forward and explores the ethical objectives,theoretical path and practical path of moral indifference governance.The ethical objectives of moral indifference governance include the effective exertion of moral functions and the formation of a good social atmosphere;the theoretical path of moral indifference governance includes five aspects:attaching importance to individual moral cultivation,cultivating the ability of moral reflection of the masses,infiltrating ethical laws,effectively integrating utilitarianism and moral principles and cultivating the spirit of contract;the realistic path of moral indifference governance includes the elimination of evil customs.Four aspects are vulgarity,strengthening moral value education,perfecting the mechanism of moral rewards and punishments and paying attention to the construction of moral atmosphere.
