Research On The Pragmatic Functions Of Discourse Markers In Interview Discourse

News Probe is a deep news commentary program of CCTV.In the form of investigation and interview,it seeks the truth behind the news story and plays a role in promoting social harmony and progress.The communication with the interviewees during the interviews of the reporters in the program provides favorable materials for the discourse markers in the interview language.Discourse markers are a special kind of language phenomenon in language use.This paper focuses on the interview discourse in the News Probe to study the discourse markers in communicative spoken language.Formally,it can be a word,a phrase or a clause.It does not have a true value or participate in the expression of a proposition,but it plays an indispensable connection in the discourse structure.They are syntactically independent,semantically separable,and dynamic in speech.By collecting the corpus of the dialect language in the News Probe,the author defines the discourse markers frequently appearing in the interviews of TV interviews,and classifies and elaborates its formal structure,location and pragmatic functions.Under the basic research of classification,this paper attempts to explore the role of discourse markers in interviewing language from three aspects.The first is the compliance function in context.From the perspective of conversational analysis,the turn is the basic unit of conversation.The conversation is also carried out during the turn of the turn.Discourse markers are an indispensable part of the process of using Chinese to communicate naturally.They play the role of initiating a turn,asking for a turn,keeping a turn,and abandoning the turn;the second is to explain the connection function from form and content.The aspect is explained,the emphasis is divided into semantics and attitude,and the patching is divided into corrective repair and interpretation repair.In spoken language,the discourse organization function of discourse markers expresses the speaker's attention to the coherence of the content expressed by himself;the third is the pragmatic function of discourse markers in interpersonal interaction,especially in TV talk shows.The vital role is divided into prompt and guidance functions,subjective restriction functions and discourse suspension functions.The prompting and guiding functions focus on starting from the prompting process,prompting the process to continue,and prompting the process to end.The subjective restriction function focuses on the limitation of contextual assumptions and restrictions on cognitive outcomes,while the discourse suspension function is combined with interviews.The speaker's strategy in the program describes its role in striving forthe speaker's time.
