In the long river of history,war and peace are the eternal themes of mankind.The sufferings of bloody intertwined with the arduous and indecisive struggles,and the restless and dangerous social environment has stimulated numerous musicians to express their political stand,social care and yearning for peace in their own ways.The "Peace music" which born in the background of different times is a resounding echo of history."Peace music" records the story of time with rhythm and melody;it carries emotions and thoughts that are difficult to express;it comforts the human heart;it inspires the enthusiasm of the masses.This music full of emotion and expectations are classic that never faded and the artist who struggle with the word's thorns are worthy of our attention!The author uses “the sense of melody : the design research of peace music poster as the theme in order to explore the relationship of synesthesia between music language and visual language because of the story behind the peaceful music and the profound background and cultural value of the times.As the same time,the author convey to viewer the themes of “peace” and “love” to commemorate the musicians and artists who contributed to the peace in each era.In the process of design research,the author attempts to build a bridge between music and visual communication with the language of synaesthesia and divides the peaceful music of different era backgrounds,different types of styles and different languages into four series according to their similar tune temperament.The four series are Moderate and euphemistic style,heavy and screaming style,bright and hopeful style,and powerful style.On the basis of grasping the overall unity,each poster in each series has its own characteristics,in order to show the unique artistic charm,rich story and mottled historical sense of peaceful music.
