Research On The Function Of The Construction "Vle And V"

"V le you V" are common constructions in modern Chinese,in which "le" and "you" are constant terms,while former "V" and latter "V" are variable terms.They have a strong spoken color,many functions and a high frequency of occurrence.This paper uses the construction grammar theory and the "three planes" theory to analyze the syntactic,semantic and pragmatic functions of "V le you V" and also makes a comparative study with related constructions,so as to more comprehensively deconstruct "V le you V".The main contents are as follows:In the introduction part,the research object is defined,and the "V le you V" which are the same as the former "V" and the latter "V" are identified as the research object of this paper.Then,the research status,research significance,theoretical basis and research methods,and data sources are described.The first chapter studies the syntactic function of construction.First of all,it analyzes the syntactic function of the component,that is,"v","le" and "you" are studied in detail.The component is the basic part of the structure.Only by analyzing the component thoroughly can the structure be better studied.Then it discusses the syntactic function of the construction as a whole.The construction "V le you V" can be used as predicate,attribute and adverbial in a sentence,indicating that the syntactic function of the construction is diverse.The second chapter studies the semantic functions of constructions.Every member of a language has its own meaning.Different linguistic components can produce different meanings when combined.The first part of this chapter discusses the semantic function of components,that is,to analyze "v","le" and "you".The second part studies the semantic function of the construction as a whole,which denotes repetition or extension.The third Chapter analyze the pragmatic function of construction.As a colloquial construction,the construction "V le you V" has three pragmatic functions,namely,subjective function,prominent function and textual function,which are related to the language environment.The fourth chapter analyzes the comparison between "V le you V" and related constructions.This chapter compares "V le V" and "V le you V le" from syntax,semantics and pragmatics.they have both similarities and differences with "V le you V" and can have amore comprehensive understanding of the construction "V le you V" through comparative study.The conclusion summarizes the main contents of this article and points out the shortcomings of this article.
