In the first year of Chongde(1636),Duoergun was conferred the title of heshuorui prince, which initiated the lineage of rui prince in the Qing Dynasty. In contrast to other lineages, prince rui's line of descent had an interruption in the succession of peerage. There are Qing Dynasty, rui prince a total of seven generations of twelve rui prince, including four rui prince.According to the interruption of rui prince's lineage title,it can be divided into three stages. The first stage is the first two generations of rui princes from the period before the entrance of the Qing Dynasty to the Shunzhi period.Influenced by the position of Duoergun, rui prince was at the core of politics during this period and participated in the politics of the Qing dynasty to a great extent. The second stage was from the early Kangxi period to the middle Qianlong period when four rui princes were posessed. The third stage was the third to the seventh rui prince from the middle period of Qianlong to the Xuantong period. In the forty-third year of Qianlong(1778),although he was newly canonized, his personal ability was insufficient and his political core was gradually removed.By analyzing the three stages of rui prince's lineage in the succession of peerage,we can clearly see the changes of the political relationship between rui prince's lineage and the Qing Dynasty, and the process of change depends on the degree of its close relationship with the imperial power.
