Research On The Speech Act Of "Chasing The Murder In The White Night" From The Perspective Of Power-dynamic Theory

The theory of force-dynamics was put forward by Talmy,a cognitive linguist,in1981.It has developed into a mature theory gradually and widely applied in the field of cognitive linguistics.Although cognitive linguistics and pragmatics belong to two different research fields,they have a reciprocally close relationship to a certain extent.The theories in cognitive linguistics can also be utilized to analyze pragmatic phenomena.Some pragmatic factors are added to the force-dynamic model so that illocutionary force-dynamic model is about to be established in the research.In this way,the speech acts in Day and Night are observed and examined under the model.The research methods of literature review in terms of qualitative and quantitative analysis have been mainly adopted in the research.It has aimed at exploring the mechanism of speech acts affected by social field factors,namely,society,culture and psychology.Meanwhile,the results of illocutionary force are about to be expected with the hope of providing references for the multi-dimensional research on pragmatics in the future.It is found that each type of speech act has its own role,and social domain factors have an influence on speech act to a certain extent.In addition,there are three kinds of results of perlocutionary act for illocutionary force.
