The pre-Qin period refers to this stage from the Neolithic Age to the establishment of the Qin Dynasty. So far,the pre-Qin archaeological cultural pedigree has been basically established in the region, and the pre-Qin settlement forms and social conditions have been roughly clarified, and a number of studies have involved the issue of local-person relationship.Despite this, there is still a lack of comprehensive research focusing on the cultural development of the pre-Qin period throughout the Yellow River Delta, and the lack of a relationship between the natural environment and cultural development throughout the Yellow River Delta for such a long period of time. This paper selects the Yellow River Delta as a research area, and tries to restore the coastline changes since the Holocene in the Yellow River Delta by studying the climate change, the change of the coastline, the evolution of the Yellow River Delta, and the distribution of archaeological cultural sites in the Yellow River Delta during the pre-Qin period. The change of river course, the evolution of natural environment and cultural evolution, explore the relationship between environmental change and cultural evolution in the Yellow River Delta during the pre-Qin period.Through the comprehensive arrangement of the archaeological sites in the Yellow River Delta region during the pre-Qin period, the spatial and temporal distribution of archaeological sites in the Yellow River Delta region during the pre-Qin period was studied through the comprehensive compilation of the climate change in the Yellow River Delta, the change of the coastline in the Yellow River, the river channel in the lower Yellow River, and the Yellow River Delta.Archaeological cultural characteristics, river channel changes in the lower Yellow River, climate change in the Yellow River Delta, historical characteristics of the Yellow River Delta reflected in historical literature, changes in the Holocene coastline, environmental information reflected in archaeological remains, and further exploration of environmental changes and cultural evolution in the Yellow River Delta during the pre-Qin period relationship.According to the scholars' research results on the changes of coastline, sea level change, animal and plant evolution and climate change in the Yellow River Delta region, combined with the latest excavation research data of archaeology in this region, the following conclusions can be drawn: First, the warm climate in the Holocene During the wet period, affected by the global warm and humid climate, the development and formation of the Yellow River Delta, and the changes of the Yellow River Delta coastline, the Yellow River Delta has formed many shell dykes since 7000 years ago and the development of ancient lakes and the formation of the Jiuhe River in the lower Yellow River. The plains of the Yellow River Delta. The superior climatic environment has produced a large number of aquatic plants and mammals, providing a suitable living environment and ample food sources for ancient ancestors.Second, there have been flood events in the middle and lower reaches of the Yellow River4,000 years ago,and the climate has dried up.Third, the pre-Qin culture of the Yellow River Delta was developed during the Holocene warm period, but climate and environment are not the only factors that affect the development of ancient culture. The strength of the national political ruling power will also affect the migration of the people and the development of society.Fourth, the climate environment, coastline changes and delta evolution are important factors that directly affect the rise and fall of ancient culture in this area.Fifth,in the early Shang Dynasty to the early Western Zhou Dynasty and the Eastern Zhou Dynasty, although the climate environment was poor, with the expansion of the Shang Dynasty's influence and the infiltration of the national power of the Zhou Dynasty, the development of natural resources in the Yellow River Delta region was stronger than before. The rapid increase of settlements, especially the emergence of many salt industry workshops, further illustrates the operation and development of the Shang and Zhou dynasties to the Yellow River Delta.
